Dr. Schrader was great! Very professional and patient with me. I am not the easiest patient in the world, but he was so nice and talked me the whole way through my appointment! And the shot didn't even hurt!!! The staff was so nice and helpful, they answered all my questions! I have 2 insurances and they take filed both and even told me what my insurance would pay... there were no surprises! I would recommend this office to anyone!! more

WOW!!! That's the first thing that comes to mind when I think about the experience I just had and it was at THE DENTIST! I know most people don't feel this way and I didn't prior to coming in for my appointment. I was a 'nervous nellie' and very anxious as my appointment came closer and closer, and much to my surprise, it was GREAT!!! I walked in the door to smiling faces and a friendly 'hello' and was told to feel free to help myself to a cup of coffee, hot tea, or cocoa while I filled out my paperwork. I went to the coffee machine and what do I see, STARBUCKS coffee for FREE!!! The lobby was beautifully decorated and comforting. Then, when they called my name and it was my turn, of course, the butterflies kicked in again. But, I have to say, from the hygienist that cleaned my teeth to the Dr. that did my exam, the experience totally changed my view of going to the dentist! Everyone was SO helpful and nice and explained everything. I had alot of questions and they didn't even act like they were in a rush to finish like I have experienced when I have asked questions at other offices. I was given a treatment plan with my treatment needs and it lists how much I have to pay for treatment and how much they estimate my insurance will pay. I also understand why I need the treatment they suggested. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am SO HAPPY to have found my forever dentist! THANKS RICCOBENE ASSOCIATES! more

I was in extremely bad pain with a tooth that was hurting me pretty bad. I called and they set an appointment for me to come in. Obviously I was not in the best of moods and when i was told that they were very busy and could not see me, I told the receptionist perhaps in a more emotional tone that I was accustomed to when am being nice, that it was NOT acceptable that they were putting me off, and that I wanted to speak to the manager immediately. After making me wait for almost 40 minutes, i was taken to the office to be told by the manager and the dentist himself that they did not appreciate my tone, and that they really did not want my business due to the fact that I had missed some appointments. They completely ignored the fact that I was in such pain. I sucked up their threats of not seeing me, and came the next morning for my next appointment. I sat down with a completely different dentist, and he proceeded to stick a needle to num my pain, and he stuck himself in the process. I was then told that i needed to take a blood test! for any infections i.e. Aids? I went ahead and did the test that same day and got it over with... almost 2 months later, they sent me a Nasty note that we were 40.00 over due, and that they ""demanded"" to be paid before sending it to collections. We did receive calls, but nothing on a payment over due. I read the reviews of the good, now am posting on the bad. I will NEVER, go to these folks again. The management and the male dentists in this place are in my opinion not as good as these reviews suggests of being 5 stars. I will go back to Raleigh, were customer satisfaction and the care is about taking care of folks that are in pain, and where they are much more caring about one health, and not money or in keeping BS appointments that were not recorded properly. more

They are always friendly, helpful and treat all their patients with the utmost respect and care. Not only do they answer questions and provide reasonable treatment plans, they actually do care about all their patients. I actually looked forward to my appointments and that's saying something since I have had such horrible experiences with other dentists. more

Love this dental office! They take every type of insurance, have great hours and great staff. I really appreciate all of the little things they do to make it a relaxing & enjoyable visit (Starbucks Coffee, Warm Towels, TV's). more

I have always been afraid to go to the dentist. I still have the fear but the staff really makes it a little easier for me. They are aware and take any procedures slow and tell me what they are going to do so it will not be a surprise. Pros: very caring staff more

Twice recenty, I have had the experience of waiting over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. Good care is given, & I respect that glitches happen, but as this is the second time, I need to note for prospective patients, that while you are told you will be charged if you are not on time, neither time I checked in w/ receptionsists about the delay or possibly rescheduling if there was a problem, was I ever given the message that this is not the norm, and not how they want to do business. I was basically told, ""Yeah, we know you're here."" The first time, even after waiting longer, I initiated rescheduling; this second time I knew better. Don't keep going to where the respect is not mutual, and you have to ask for customer service. Pros: Dr. Riccobene & hygenists knowledgeable & professional Cons: wait time more

I feel truly blessed to have found Riccobene Associates, Clayton. I am a 24 year old woman who has the biggest fear of the dentist. I have cried, hyperventilated, and have had panic attacks in ""the chair"" before! My fear was so severe I avoided the dentist all together and let my mouth completely deteriorate. The appearance of my teeth was beginning to alter my life. Last year I began to have extreme pain in my upper and lower jaw. I was taking OTC meds every hour to try and ease the pain and was getting little sleep at night. The pain soon became so horrible I had no choice but to go to the dentist. I was referred to Riccobene Associates by many friends who couldn't say enough wonderful things about him and his associate dentists. On my first visit I was so impressed. The front office staff was so welcoming and warm! Their compassion started my appointment off right and relieved some of my anxiety. I saw Dr. Riccobene that day and could not believe how down to earth and understanding he was. I never once felt judged because of how my teeth looked. Dr. Riccobene took plenty of time to go over my treatment needs and spent a great deal of time making sure I was comfortable. I needed my wisdom teeth pulled...ugh...and even with the demand on his schedule from all of his established patients, Dr. Riccobene fit me into his schedule the next day to have the work done. Dr. Riccobene was so gentle that I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. My recovery could not have been smoother! I am very excited to finally have a dentist that I believe in and trust. Dr. Riccobene told me on my first visit ""dont worry you wont loose any more teeth, I?m not going to let that happen"" and I believe him! My family of 5 went to this dentist. They were gentle and friendly. They also gave us a detailed treatment plan upfront which let us know exactly what our choices were. The staff took the time to explain everything and our cost according to our insurance plus charted it for us in writing. This helped me to plan for the future and utilize my flexible spending. I had been looking for a dentist after feeling like just another insurance claim. The staff is most helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help with anything from scheduling to turning on the TV while you?re getting your teeth cleaned. Dr. Abernathy is the BEST, she make you feel like you have known her all of your life! Could not have been more blessed to find a caring and supportive staff. Way to go!!! From the work they do, to how much they care abut your comfort to their great staff. I have already sent a bunch of friends and family to them and will continue to do so. Best dentist on the planet! I used to drive all the way from Wendell to his office in Clayton just to receive the fine, gentle, loving care that is customary at their office. That says a lot, considering there are plenty of dentists in and around Wendell, but I chose to drive 30+ minutes for Dr. Riccobene, So thankfull they opened up a location in Knightdale!!! more
