My experience with A staff member who I will refer to as "Angel" , was an example of professionalism at its best. "Angel" was capable of delivering several different messages whether they were regarding good news or bad news. She did so with a smile. I observed her genuine and natural ability to listen and want to help her fellow man. "Angel"was passionate about helping me find a place and assisting me with my Application process which included some unusual financial conditions.
She did so expressing and displaying patience, tact, decisiveness and morality. It is very rare to find a leader who is aware of a policy, rule or set of standards that exist, and to have the courage and mindset to think out-of-the-box and question it's validity when it comes to a rare situation .
I had put the last $300 of my life into a security deposit so that I can try and get into a rental property. Unfortunately, I was unable to generate the entire security deposit and had to withdraw from the application process. Being that I had taken the risk and put the last $300 of my life into the security deposit I requested for a refund so that I could survive until payday. Yes, I still have a job and I have a current paycheck But days away. I never anticipated a divorce process to be this unpleasant. I have experienced or come across some unexpected expenditures and realize it's just a temporary situation.
Both "Angel" and I were very aware of the non-refundable security deposit and the refund was something that was a decision That had to be approved from a supervisory level.
The very important quality of this leader, "Angel", is her ability to look at set of standards, and to remember that they are just that a set of guidelines, policies, standards, that keep us in line to maintain uniformity and to provide equal and fair treatment when it comes to business. "Angel" displayed her professionalism by firmly enforcing the non-refundable security deposit and took the time to explain it. "Angel" did not have to explain these set of standards the pertaining to non-refundable security deposit, but she did so with a smile and sincerity and I felt happy with her explanation. I had accepted her explanation and had agreed with disappointment. As I walked out, she stopped me and said that maybe a request could be submitted and told me to smile and have faith that things would work out.
This leader, "Angel" , possessed a rare human quality in the workplace... compassion. I know that "Angel" acted sincerely out of compassion, and took a risk knowing that she did not have to, and requested a refund for me. I told her it was not necessary and a gesture that would make a difference in my life. I was grateful for her asking for my $300 security deposit refund.
To some people that may not appear to be a large or significant amount of money but, somehow someway "Angel" was able to identify with my current situation. "Angel", out of the kindness of her heart, had the intestinal fortitude to request a refund for nonrefundable security deposit.
Unfortunately, that request was denied. I accepted the fact that the request was denied. but more importantly, I'm able to because of her professionalism. I was very satisfied with her efforts and services because she went out of her way to assist me with my current financial conditions. I imagine the rest of her team in that office space would be just as professional as she was.
I highly recommend this place, and its application process. Even though my application process ended negatively, I was very pleased with the professionalism, atmosphere, environment, and sound and timely responses.
