BEWARE!!! I actually went through the Eastpoint mi office. Paid my 99.00, every place was horrible, nobody called me back or it wasn't in fact for rent. I abided by ALL of the contract ""rules"" sent my refund request with all required info on 3/13/2014, I was told today that ""something"" was sent to me ""sometime"" last week but they didn't know what that ""something"" was. I called the Southfield office since it seems that is their headquarters, and reached an alleged customer service rep who proceeded with this, "" you need to call the Eastpoint office b**ch,i responded with WHAT? she replied with""yeah and yo mommas a f**king b**ch you f**king a**hole"" before slamming down the phone when I requested information about my refund request. This place claims to help and has a BBB accreditation and a B+ rating. I have contacted the BBB but people beware!! more

Don't waste your money! This company is a rip off. Initially they inform you that you will most likely find something within one week of retaining their services. I got the listing two weeks before my current lease was due to be renewed. Over half of the properties I called upon, my phone calls were not returned. The other half of properties I actually viewed were garbage. I called Rental Professionals every other day for an updated listing in accordance with their contract. Once I had to renew my lease, I requested a refund from Rental Professionals and they replied that no refund was due to me because I didn't call for 19 days (of which was not stated any where in their contract). Don't waste your money, your better off finding something over the internet without the shady assistance. more

Please Don't Use This Service. It is a SCAM. The listings are not accurate with many typos. When I called the office to verify if the listing was accurate, because it really wasn't, a women by the name of Sherry (Southfield Office) came to the phone and was very rude. She had gotten mad at me for questioning the listing that was not accurate and pushed the blame on me for their error.....What a idiot. It's not even worth trying to get my money back because of their 30 day policy and silly regulations. You are better getting a realtor or just searching on Trulia for your own listings yourself. more

I hope I save at least one person $99 by not using this service. I was having a hard time finding a home to rent so I decided to use Rental Professionals. Save your $ and just be patient with Craigslist or use some other means, any other means. The customer service phone line will only go back one day, so they told me the reason I am not seeing homes for rent in the cities I specified in the last couple of weeks was my fault because I didn't call in every day. I'm sorry, but I have called in 95% of the time yet the listings I got were for cities that I never said I wanted to live in. Why pay for something you don't even want? Then the woman I talked to on the phone treats me like I slow and talked down to me like I am an idiot for not understanding their service. I think there is a wide opportunity for another company to be created and to put this one out of business. How stupid is it to have a service where there aren't even PICTURES of the homes on the list? Why would it be so hard to create a database that people can log in to and see ALL homes for rent at any time day or night? Move along and don't even consider using them. I am sorry I wasted $99 of my money, I am not even going to try asking for a refund since I know I didn't call in every damn single day. more

I ended up by finding a house on Craigslist, so I continued to call everyday for the 30 days so I could get a refund per our contract. They denied me a refund and provided me 5 dates they said I did not call the automated system. I told them that their system was not working and my calls were answered by a message telling me to try again later but even later my calls weren't getting through the automated system. I gave them copies of my phone bill as proof for the calls and they still refused to reimburse the $99 fee saying their system is error proof and that was my fault if my calls were not getting thru ****SCAM**** SCAM***SCAM*** more

Be advised that the 30 refund policy is BS. What they fail to tell you is that unless you call or come into the office, every single business day, you will not be awarded your refund. On top of that every refund request has to be in writing with a 30-60 waiting period for them to review your file. They will claim that you agreed to this on the phone when you signed up. This was never mentioned to me. They will just tell you that if you haven't found a property in 30 days you will get a full refund. I had saved all of my emails from calling in every day and in my refusal letter, they stated I had only called in 11 times. i had 28 emails from calling them every day. When I spoke with representative "Mark" on the phone about this, he told me I would have to again send a request in writing for a re-count. When I told him I would contact the BBB, he then "reminded" me he had my address and I should watch what I say. When I again told him about my email records, he laughed and said I would be the first person in history that saved their emails. His smug and arrogant attitude told me I would never get a refund.
