I had a very good experience with Renaissance Windows and Doors. The salesman, Derrick, was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He was very professional and most of all, not a high pressure salesman! His attitude and the beautiful Marvin fiberglass windows made my decision for me. The installer, Phillip and his helper Kevin (?) were very good. Clean work, no glass and minimal dust left to clean up after they were gone. Good job! more

They came out when they said they would and the doors are beautiful. I was having trouble getting the door to lock, so I called and Wayne called me right back and walked me through what I was doing wrong. He said to call any time we have any issues, but we haven't had any other issues. more

I'd put off replacing my old wooden windows for too long, largely because I didn't know where to turn for the help I needed in making my choice of replacement. I didn't want a come-on. I wanted quality windows, in keeping with my neighborhood and the style of my house. I like that Renaissance Windows and Doors is located in a Design Center, with a showroom, where I could see what was available. The professionalism of the sales staff and the installers was immediately apparent and I also could see that they were a tightly-knit team. They've been efficient, fast, neat in their work in my home....the team is ever polite and concerned that I be happy with my choice. And best of all....they've worked with me in stages....replacing a few windows at a time, in keeping with my cash flow. I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to endorse them on the radio....I am a customer and one who is very happy at that. more

I live in a townhouse and wanted to replace the four single-pane aluminum windows that were installed when the townhouse was built more than 30 years ago. When standing next to these old windows, you could feel the heat during the summer and cold in winter. Very energy inefficient. I looked at the various types of windows and spoke with different contractors. I had heard of Marvin windows (and the quality) but thought they would be too expensive for what I was looking for. I happen to see Renaissance Windows and Doors at a Houston home show and decided to compare them to other windows seen at the home show. WOWHAT A DIFFERENCE! There was a huge difference in quality with Marvin Integrity windows compared with other windows I saw. I was impressed. After getting estimates from all of the contractors, I chose Renaissance and Marvin Integrity, because of the overall quality of the windows and installation from reviews and referrals. Sure, the windows were a bit pricy. But I found especially with Renaissance, you get what you pay for. I had the windows installed last spring. The installation went like clockwork and the installers kept everything clean. I cant feel the heat or cold when standing next to or touching the window. My electricity bill is now much lower. more

My experience with Renaissance was great, from the beginning when Derek, their sales representative, sold us the windows. Kevin delivered them and Phil and Kevin installed them. They were all extremely efficient, conscientious, and thorough. They were all excellent people. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or leave any of them with my house, because they are so trustworthy. more

Satisfied with the replacement of 15 windows. The installers did a great job installing these windows. The windows look beautiful and the installation went as explained to us during the sales process. This project involved a large number of windows. The two installers addressed our concerns and made us feel comfortable that the installation was of high quality and will allow the windows to perform well for a very long time. They also took care of the house, and when they where done, there was only a minimum number of knicks to the walls and floors which need to be touched up. Overall, this was a good experience, and this company will be at the top of my list when I am ready to proceed with my next project. more

Was completely satisfied with work done at my house. The technicians were skilled and very professional, courteous and pleasant. They answered all my questions and concerns. They worked a long day and then 6 more hours the next day to finish. I love the doors. They seem to be a quality product. They look good, feel solid, insulate and keep out noise. I regret using Renaissance Windows and Doors. First of all, I am upset because they tried to shove a door onto the frame when it clearly did not fit. I regret using them. I received the most abominable service I have ever received from any company. I have already made sure my neighbors know the kind of service this company provided. RESPONSE FROM Renaissance Windows and Doors: We sincerely apologize that you feel we were trying to make you accept a door that wasn't right. It is true that the manufacturer shipped us your door unit with the sidelites narrower than what your order called for. When we discovered this error we wanted to offer you some options. It is very important that we tell our customers what is going on with their projects even when things go wrong and try to offer solutions. In this case, you were given the option to accept the unit with the narrower sidelites at a discounted price, or wait on a new unit to come in with the wider sidelites. We are truly sorry that you felt like we were trying to force you to accept something you didn't want. That was never our intention. We want our customers to love their new doors and windows, not feel like they are settling. We are glad to hear that you are pleased with the final product. more

Overall my experience was very favorable. The window install was fantastic. My only complaint was that it was extremely expensive. It was well worth the price though. The crew was very professional, and performed the work under the time allotted. We also had some patio doors installed from them. They were done by a different crew and we weren't as happy with their work, but we were still happy with them overall and they came on time and did the work well. more

We obtained three quotes to replace our windows with hurricane windows. The Renaissance sales exec was by far the most knowledgeable of the three. He knew his products and installers' capabilities as well as his competitors' and he specifically explained how the installation would be made and how the installers would take care of our home. The installation was performed when and how it was promissed. more

There was a problem of coordination between your installation people and the people that were to do the removal of the brick prior to the installation of the window. It would be to your benefit if you would have a reliable person or persons that can do the brick removal. RESPONSE FROM Renaissance Windows and Doors: It can be a challenge to coordinate with a third party brick layer. Brick removal is typically outside of our scope of work. We were happy to jump in there and do it ourselves when it was determined they could not get to the job on time. We're thrilled you are pleased with the results. more

The job they did was ok. They delivered what the sales person said they would deliver. Everything was installed properly. My only complaint was that I had to call a few times to find out when they were coming. The sales person said someone would contact me but I called twice after waiting a few days before they actually came out. more

The doors they delivered to me were absolutely gorgeous. The only thing I would suggest would be that they ask what allowance they are given when choosing the product and specify up front the price for the hardware. That information was not made firm for me. There was no concrete figure, and that caused me some difficulty. Other than that, the product was beautiful, and the people that work there are very good. 1. Crew ran out of caulking. Need to be more prepared; 2. Very good in protecting dust by covering up furnitures; 3. Cleaned up well before left site. more
