Absolutely horrible! This law firm is unethical and will cost you more money and grief than they are worth. Yes, we expected the high cost when we made the difficult decision to file bankruptcy after almost a decade of struggling. But we didn't sign up for the humiliation when our lawyer wouldn't bother to call us back unless she had HER MONEY or the complete shut down after court hearing where she didn't even show. Her replacement was rude and didn't even bother to tell us what would happen next. Our payments were always recieved and processed late which in two cases were seen as defaults from the companies we owed. Rauser told us to give them our money and they would handle it and did a piss poor job. Charlatans! They treated us like people who'd broken the law! Never go to these people! They deserve to be shut down! I understand that they have a lot of cases but that's no excuse for such abuses. We're struggling more than ever because of their mishandling. more

Being terminated from my employer and suffering a severe personal injury my wife and I were put in the unfortunate position to have to file for Chapter 7, Bankruptcy relief. We appreciated the fact that their fees were extremely fare in comparison to what other firms were asking during this most stressful time in our lives. We were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism from not only our first in person meeting with Mr. Autero but every subsequent meeting or phone call thereafter. Mr. Autero kept us informed of each and every detail of our very complicated case and was available to answer any and all of our concerns even if it was after hours or a weekend. My Attorney was very helpful-friendly and compassionate. I was very anxious about filing and he put me at ease. My attorney took his time and walked me through my options.\r The staff at Rauser and Assoc. always treated me with respect and kindness. They held my hand every step of the way and were always available to answer questions. We were very pleased. I called them up late sat evening, and got a call back on Monday morning. We were referred to their Akron office, which was interesting trying to find having never before being to Akron. The staff was extremely friendly. They told us the consultation was free, but that they would need 100 dollars to begin processing the case. We explained that we did not have it, and they told us that's fine, but that they would not prevent any further legal advice or assistance until we paid them. We sent the money about a week later. From there it took us six months to get up enough money to finish paying them off. (We had to file Chapter 7 because our income had fallen below the minimum standard for Ch. 13 when I was laid off.) I've used Rauser and Associates and had a good experience. For the people complaining that they have high turnover, you have to realize they are a group practice... this means that all of the lawyers work on your case. For me this worked out well because it meant that there was usually a lawyer to take my call when I had questions. more

This company accepted seveal hundreds of dollars to file a bankruptcy - never did so- offered no assistance whatever- \r has delayed over six weeks in refunding the money and when advised of the unethical practice of this delay - didn't care.\r Their employees stated that thye money would be paid in a week. This was over three weeks ago. Their accountant was very rude. - planning to file an ethics violation with the Ohio State Bar Association. absolutely do not recommend them.\r J more

They screwed me and did not give me accurate information. I had 4 different lawyers thru the process and I could never get anyone to call me back. They never sent me info about my case and told me WRONG information that screwed my case and cost me more $$. I don't know how they are allowed to still practice law in Ohio. My husband and I went there for an initial consultation with an attorney. We were considering filing bankruptcy. Rauser claims their first consultation is free but the attorney asked us for $100 to process paperwork in case we decided to proceed with the bankruptcy. We never went back there after the first consultation but they started sending us bills $700.00 for work they never did. When we requested that our $100 be refunded since we in fact never retained them, they danced around with all kinds of excuses. We never did get our money back and finally gave up after several months of trying. Avoid these people like the plague! They are a total rip-off! more

Rauser is the worse bankrupcty firm in Cleveland. They have to many inexperienced lawyers and too many clients. They work on volume, which means they have to work many cases to make money. Trustees at court do not like them becuase they are always late because they have too many clients. Take your money elsewhere! the law is the law...they will not help you keep your house, the law will! PROS: NONE CONS: Too many clients more

My friend recommended me to them. They were a liitle expencive, but it was worth it. They helped me with my bankrupsy case. I able to ger out of debt thanks to them. They allowed me to keep my house, my car, and my personal property. Their office was very neat and proffesionally looking. The staff was very well communicated. They also allowed me to contact them by phone. I had a great exprerince with them and i would deffintly recommend them to anyone in need. more

Rauser & Associates handles a great deal of bankruptcies in their office. You will need to call for an appointment to go in and see them. At one time you could make an initial payment and then make monthly or weekly payments towards your fees for this service. I'm not sure at this time what they offer as far as payment arrangements go, because the bankruptcy laws will be changing in October 2005. However, they are very knowledgeable in bankruptcy law, and I do recommend them if you need to file for bankruptcy. more
