In defense of Dr. Pierce, she did not even work at RAH in 2010. Also, Dr. Pierce is a very good veterinarian. She may not be able to sweet-talk her clients as well as Dr. Ratcliff, but she is certainly no slacker. Dr. Ratcliff is an ego-man whose only concern is to seem caring and compassionate to his clients. He is no magical veterinarian and he is no diagnostic genius. He just talks to his clients really well, but if you want a veterinarian to get to the root of the problem, go elsewhere. If you're looking for bedside manner, go to Canes (the chicken place).Your focus should be on the wellness of your animal not the ability of your doctor to make you feel special inside. more

Dr. R's Vet Practice 11/11/2010

Good: For the person who had a bad experience with Dr. R's practice, I understand your dilemma. However, you saw Dr. Pierce, who is no longer at his practice. I myself and others, did not care for her because she didn't have the same bedside manner, caring, and compassion as Dr. R. He is a truly awesome guy and really cares. I'm sorry you had a negative experience, but I hate to see his practice have anything negative said about it. I feel if you had seen him, your opinion would have been vastly different.. Improvements: For someone to clone Dr. R, so there would be a vet available 24/7 to give fabulous care to your babies. I do not care at all for Animal Emergency Services on Line.. more

Great vet 8/8/2005

I used this vet only once because it is out of the way for me. I have called for advice when I could not get my cat to stop spraying. They answered my questions even when I was no a customer. The staff is very friendly and the inside does not smell like a vets office. I would use them if they were closer to home. more

Friendly Vet 8/1/2005

Dr. Keith Ratcliff is a friendly, knowledgeable Christian vet. His staff is nice. His office is very clean. He has a kind heart toward the kritters who need a home. I would definately recommend him. The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars is because he's a little on the pricey side. For annual vaccines, I'd probably go somewhere else, but if something was really wrong with my animal, Dr Ratcliff would be the one. more
