Brett G. does excellent work, in fact he's been cutting my hair for quite a while now, and I've followed him from salon to salon over the years because I'm always happy with the results...looks good getting out of the chair and grows in well over the next few weeks, the true test of a good haircut. Rage has a great, fun atmosphere, and there are some nice touches like complementary coffee, muffins, fruit, candy, etc. If you're anything less than completely satisfied with your last haircut, you should go over to Rage and talk to Brett. I know a couple of girls that go to Brett as well, and they rave about his other work (color, etc.). I can't speak to that but the cuts are always dead-on. So my expierence wasn't all that great at first. I went to Katia at Rage Salon. I told her exactly what I wanted and I ended up being dissatisfied. I was looking for a new hairdresser because my original girl had left Rage. I happen to love the salon it is funky, upbeat and hip and close to home. I like the rocker style hair with lots of color and contrast and I ended up leaving as plain Jane. I was so excited to have it done too. So now $200.00 later and I'm almost in tears. I leave and called them back the next day to complain. So they set me up with Jordan. He is awsome!!!!! Not only is he super friendly and such a cool kat to be around unlike Katia...he fixed my hair right up. He did exactly what I wanted. Even though I still had to pay my second time around two days after meeting with Katia it was well worth it and he gave me an excellent price. I was so pleased with him. I had black die on my hair that Katia had given me and there were supposed to be high lights as well which NEVER turned out. Jordan was able to lift the black die and put in some highlights for me. She said it was because of my hair.....YEAH whatever...Jordan did it no problem and it looks fantastic. One concern I had was damanging my hair and with Jordan being the expert he is that never happened. I will never use anyone else. He is soooo GREAT!! Believe me he is your guy!!!!!!!! You can X out Katia she has a bad attitude and is not real friendly. Plus she pressured me into tipping her which I don't have any problem doing when your hair looks awsome. So I only gave her $15. In my recent search to find a great salon, I found Rage. Brett made me feel very comfortable and gave me a great cut and color. He knew exactly how to fix my blonde by getting rid of the yellow gold tones! I highly reccomend Brett! more

My girlfriend had her hair cut and colored by Brett and I was so impressed with her results I had to book an appointment!! Brett touched up my roots and toned my hair and it looks the best it EVER has. Usually when I have my hair bleached or dyed blonde it ends up yellow but Brett has the color down. It looks natural and amazing! I get complements on it everywhere I go. I can't believe how perfect the color is. I am so happy I will never let another person touch my hair again. I had Michelle cut and color my hair yesterday and I'm very pleased! My hair was pretty fried due to chemical straightening and me dying my own hair. Michelle was able to get my hair color perfect, it looks dead on my natural color and she really made it look healthy again without having to chop it all off! I will be coming back to see Michelle again and again! She rocks! more

Nobody has been able to formulate the hair color I have been wanting for years. Katelyn not only formulated a beautiful red that I was looking for, but gave me an amazing style as well. I have been told that the color I was looking for was not possible with my natural color, but apparently I just needed to find the right stylist. I drive to Rage all the way from Livermore just to see Katelyn and won't let anybody else touch my hair again. I highly recommend Katelyn to anybody and I am so happy I found her. more

I had driven by rage many times, it was close to home. Then I was getting tired of my hair. So looked up the place online. The reviews were great so I decided to see for myself.. I recently moved back to the south bay and was looking for somebody who could cut my thick curly hair and not butcher it. Anyone who has curly hair knows how difficult this is to find. A friend of mine recommended courtney who does her cuts and color which always look amazing. I booked my appointment with the intention of cutting off enough hair to donate. For years I have struggled with my hair. I used to say ""I am not having a bad hair day, I've had a bad hair life!"" Then someone recommended Michelle. Relutantly, I gave her a try. I had tryed so many different stylists over the years I thought no one could do anything with my hair. I must say that I was very impressed. I didn't even have to hardly tell her what I wanted done, she just knew. She is without a doubt THE BEST stylist I've ever found. I came to her with a cut that was not working for me, she was honest with her assessment of hairstyle and color that would be best for me and I believe she has the ability to apply this knowledge to all her clients and their unique requests. After leaving the salon with my new hair, I received WOW! compliments everywhere I went. People could tell that I had been to the salon, it's not like it took a week for someone to notice that something was different.
