RV Anywhere Mobile RV Service

I had an emergency while staying in the Florida Keys Nov 2013. I called a couple of mobile mechanics and RV Anywhere was able to schedule me the fastest. They were great on the phone and describing their fees. When the technician showed up he seemed professional and knowledgeable. They called my warranty company and then assured me they would call back the warranty company later that day to give the part number and cost. When they called me with the cost of the part and labor I did not even think to shop it so I take responsibility for blindly believing that they were charging a normal part mark up price. The repaired the rig but would not invoice my warranty company. This was my first red flag. So I paid them and submitted the claim. When I called my warranty company they stated that they never did get the call with the part number. In hind site this is probably because I would have then been warned that the part was being marked up at a crazy amount. When I called the company they never answered and did not return any of my messages. I finally used a different phone and amazingly they answered. They said they had called and would call again. The next day I called the warranty company and no call had come from them. RV Anywhere then sent an email saying they were not responsible and that they had warned me that the warranty company's were not good about paying. That is because the warranty company will only pay fair market value. They charged me $1800+ tax for a part that cost $1200 + tax. That is a $600 markup plus labor. When I asked them to explain this cost they refused to respond. I understand that a company will mark up a part but 150% is beyond any industry standard and the fact that they stopped answering the phone as soon as they were paid shows they do not care about customer service. I would not use this company again. more

We are third generation RVers, and neither me nor my husband have ever been treated so well by a service facility. When they answer the the phone all the way through the conversation, as we have read by other reviews, they were thorough and professional. They make our problem seem to be the only thing on their minds. The men were courteous and obviously educated in their field. They were able to correct problem that others Dealers had attempted...Lazydays. Go figure. As we discovered later, the owner is a former Manager of Lazydays, Michael Lewis. Whatever it was he tookm from that experience he certainly improved on it with this company. It's hard to believe that this organization is strictly mobile. Of course it is a convenience for us but if they could apply the same practice in a Dealership, they would be as big as Lazydays. trust us in that when we visit the Florida Keys this year,we will be giving them a call. We have contracted RV Anywhere on 4 occasions now. during each visit from RVA it is exactly the same pleasant and worry free process. They have their service done to an exact science. We confidently allow them to do whatever is necessary in order to resolve each task as we know they will always exceed our expectations. Mike Lewis the owner, has created a unique andand extraordinary example of what RV service should really be. As proof of our loyalty to RV Anywhere, we live less than 10 minutes from the Dealer, but we gladly pay the $50 service fee for them to come to us, and we don't even have to home. These guys are awful. I called them out to diagnose my AC that went out. The diagnosis was that i needed a entire new unit. They could replace it for $1000. There were mud-dobbers nests in the capacitor area on the AC. They said that they caused it to short out. However they did not even clean the nests out. I am not sure what test they did to determine the damage. I have an older camper so i wasn't sure i wanted to put that kind of money into it. I decided to research it a bit more. I found that the starter relay on these coleman AC units go out quite frequently. I decided to try it out. $44 dollars later and my unit is work good as new. I have called these guys back, but they do not return my call. I would not recommend these guys to anyone unless you just want pay for a new replacement instead of a fix. more

I have known Michael for many years but have never had the opportunity to work with him on a business level. Since I bought my first RV he has been my go to person! His staff is always friendly and very helpful. They never treat me as if I am asking a stupid question, which I know I most likely am. But being a first time RV owner I have alot of questions.
