Queens Water Damage Restoration

I have been using this company for 5 years now, they are located right in my neighborhood. John is the owner and he picks up my wool area rugs once a year to be cleaned. They always come out nice. I have two dogs and when they are returned they never have any stains or a bad odor. Great company and great people to deal with. more

Bottom line: DO NOT USE Preferred Carpet Cleaning. They ruined my rug. I discovered this ""service"" from a living social deal and John, the owner, lured me in with a very good price on a cleaning for my 8' x 10' area rug. The rug was in good condition but could use a refresher (since its gray and I felt had picked up some dirt). After arriving more than an hour late, his guy came in and ""cleaned"" my rug with a large and to be honest, bad smelling contraption. It appeared when he was finished that the rug looked a bit brighter than before, but the next day, after it had dried there were more than a dozen BROWN WATER MARKS all over my rug AND a MILDEW smell permeating throughout my apartment. I was leaving on vacation in 4 days and called John frantically for an explanation and so he could fix this problem and he said there were no appointments in the time before I was leaving and to call back when I returned so he could come personally and take care of the problem. Well....I gave John 10 chances to redeem himself (that's how many time I've called him over the past week so make a follow up appointment) but he has not answered the phone a single time or returned my call after 2 messages. This was the biggest waste of money I've ever spent! My rug now looks horrible (I've included pictures of the stains that are all over the rug). If you care at all about your rugs/carpets...stay away from Preferred Carpet! more

I hired this company 3 years ago, based on a phone conversation with the owner. He was on time, the price was good and the cleaning was even better. My sofa looked new again, I was so happy. I have used them several times , since then and I have recommened them to friends and family in the Russian community. more

I had Preferred Carpet Cleaning clean my living room and bedrooms. The price was right and John was so nice. He did a demonstration on my tile floors and it looked great. After seeing the tile and grout cleaning demonstration I hired him to clean my whole kitchen and basement tile floors. Their service man came over to the house to do several services including cleaning the tile and grout and refinishing our wood floors. He talked a lot about how his service was the best and that others did a bait and switch. He and his men left juice stains in our wood floor, the new finish is peeling off and is bunching up all over the place. The tile was not clean after he left. We called him to come over and redo the job, he did not answer our calls. Please for your own sake do not use this company for any job. Poor customer service and poor quality work.
