Quality Insulation & Building Products

My GC used Quality Insulation out of Milford for years (they were bought out by Masco Contractor Services) so he used them again to insulate our second floor and attics. Promised to show Tuesday, no call no show. This repeated for Wed, Thurs, and Friday. Saleman Rob told me they were not only going to work on Saturday to make it up, but will finish in one day. Also said if there were any problems to call his cell, the manager's cell or the office as they were to be open. They showed up at 9am, started the work, and left at 2pm without telling us they were leaving or calling our GC. Tried calling all three numbers and no answer or call back. Insulation only a fraction finished and what was done was done poorly. Now, all the rest of the work is stalled and causing havoc with our schedules. I contracted with them to insulate my home. They did not provide the service contracted for. They drilled 3 inch holes in my ceiling of my cape style home to blow insulation into the roof. They left the holes stuffed with a wood plug. They asked to use my vacuum to clean up their mess. They replaced the siding so that the side that hadn't faded was exposed. Some of the siding was not replaced at all. The broke shingles and just pieced them back together. They were suppose to insulate the floor but didn't do the whole for because the floor joists changed direction at a certain point in the floor. They never told me they didn't insulate the whole floor. I found out when I went to replace the flooring. They had to come back 3 times to correct these things. They were very indignant that I was upset about the job they did. My house was still cold. I had another company come out. They found that one outside wall had no insulation, and around and over the windows did not have insulation. Needless to say I had wasted my money having ""Quality"" Insulation do the job. It had to be redone. more

Insulated my home ""I use that term lightly"" to the tune of thousands of dollars...screwed it up royally. The name of this firm is laughable,,,, did not properly insulate window cavities, insulation falling down in basement, etc. Real schist-er!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! more
