We first started coming to Puri Pediatrics in October 1994 after my daughter was born. Dr Veena Puri was the doctor on duty then at Washington Hospital. Kimberley had to stay a couple of days due to a hard delivery. Dr Veena took the time to work with her and make sure she was ok. she stopped by one evening dressed up, on the way to some event to make sure all was well. Puri Pediatrics has always been very thorough through these years and always available. more

We are so blessed to have Dr. Puri as our child's pediatrician. We feel so comfortable with her. Our child gets better as soon as we enter her door. That's my perception but it is sooo true. Also as we can communicate in our own language thats a plus. We highly recommend her for your child. more

The care that my three children have received over the past 18 years has been outstanding. I am very satisfied with the level of service that my children receive. Every staff member is outstanding, warm & friendly.I have never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend Puri Pediatrics to anyone seeking excellent child medical care. more

We appreciate being able to be seen when we call on the same day. The group responds within 24 hours to any inquiries sent via e-mail, wait times once at the office can be long sometimes but for the most part you're seen within 20 minutes when you arrive. Sometimes I feel rushed once i'm there to discuss my daughter's health but lately I feel it's improved the last few visits. I you ask question's the doctors take time to discuss concerns carefully & often provide helpful aids like dvd's or reading material. We're sad to leave due to changes in my employers healthcare benefits but hope to return once plans are worked out to where we can be part of Hills Physicians Group again. Thanks for a great experience & help keeping our daughters health a priority. more

Dr. Veena and her husband Dr. Hari provide the best pediatric child care. I'm not only a parent of a child but was also a patient myself since the age of 5. She is now caring for two generations of kids in our family. Over the course of the 30 years that we've been patients there, I've seen the practice grow and change. The one constant has been the top quality care that has been provided to me and my children. I've moved away from Fremont long ago but drive an hour to take my kids in for an appointment. more

I don't know if you remember me, but you and Dr Hari took very good care of my son Jeremy when he was a baby. He was hospitalized when he was 7 months old really sick and was sick with asthmas for a long time after. He just turned 20 last weekend and hasn't taken medicine for his asthma for quite a while now. He is an awesome son. He takes classes at the local jr college and works at Starbucks in Ripon. Very independent which I didn't think he would be at least not this much, But we are very close and we talk about a lot things. Our oldest Chris he is 26 now and is a ssgt in the air force. He has been in for 8 years now. He was just married to a girl who has 2 girls ages 3 and 4 and they are expecting another girl in 2 weeks. I will be flying out to see them in Montana on the 10th. We are very excited our first grandchild. Plus we love her two girls very much they are great.. Well I thought I would look up Puri Pediatrics and I saw your name. You and Dr Hari were and always will have a special place in our hearts and I just wanted to let you know how our boys were doing. Say hello to Dr. Hari for us. more

My son had bad experience and suffered from Itch/Rashes from 5/29 to 6/1/2012, due reaction of to Amoxicillon syrup which is prescribed by Dr. Puri's Office. When we showed to doctor, she has given Bendryl which causes more worse. I took him to the Dermatologist, he told me, because of Amexicillon, he got rashes. He spent sleepiness nights, he suffered like anything by scratching, so total body occupied with rashes and face became puffy. I am planning to sue a file. more

After coming from a large pediatric 5/25/2012

After coming from a large pediatric practice with so many doctors where my children and me were treated like a number and the staff is so rude and always in a rush. upon many recommendations we came to puri pediatrics and have been so happy. everyone at the office is so professional and customer oriented, they care for your children like family/friends.it is so easy to get same day appointments, they email your prescriptions. very personable on the phone , inform you of normal labs. very good with follow up of a sick visit with a phone call next day. we love all the doctors who are so experienced and the very caring staff at puri pediatrics. more

Dr. Veena Puri's credentials speak for themselves, but in addition to being an obvious ""expert's expert,"" she is a deeply compassionate, patient, and thoughtful person. She is more available than anyone has a right to expect and it's very clear that Dr. Veena thinks about her patients long after they've left the office. Not only has Dr. Veena has taken time to address every rookie parenting question that we've had -- regardless of the hour -- but she's followed up with links to articles, further thoughts, and friendly ""how's it going"" emails. Also, she has a sense of humor which is very very necessary. As parents we have already made a lot of mistakes but choosing Dr. Veena is one we feel really really good about. Dr. Veena is profoundly generous with her time, and we feel very fortunate to have our son, Michael, in her practice. more
