Haven't dined in, only shopped at the bakery. I did this twice. Both times the lady who rang me up was insanely and obliviously rude. Poor attitude and no concern for the guests reaction. My second visit was a year apart from the first and I recognized her and her curt mannerisms immediatley. The second time I visited I purchased only two cookies. She shoved them in the bag so violently that when i arrived home I found they were crumbled to pieces. Did I mention that when she took the cookies from the jar she set them on the dirty counter? Don't waste your time or money. Pros: Only waisted $12 Cons: waisted $12 more

food is LOUSY service is WORSE and the bartender with the long hair and ridiculous eyebrows on the bar side\r is just about the RUDEST service worker I've ever encountered ANYWHERE! Over all I would have to say that the sandwiches at Pronto are great but some of the other fare is mediocre to good. Service is usually good but it can be a little on the slower side when it gets busy at lunch/dinner...but the wait staff usually makes up for the lack of speed with their friendliness(and cuteness). Over on the bar side, the bartenders are friendly, entertaining and usually nice to look at...Steve is particularly entertaining during lunch and happy hour. I would recommend Pronto the Rest/Bar if you're in the area Pros: mixed crowd...old, young, gay, straight, black, white etc. Cons: service can be a little slow sometimes more

The company I used to work for regularly uses their catering so it was quite disappointing to go there for lunch for the first time and have them take an hour to make a sandwich. The waitress took our order promptly when we arrived at noon and brought our drinks but she never came back to our table until an hour later. The two of us jokingly mentioned to the waitress that we have been waiting for an hour to get our sandwiches and she said they would be right up. It would be fine if they made a mistake and lost our order or something but no appology or any other offer was made. She did ask if we would like to speak to the manager but she never got a manager to come over. I think she may have been worried she would get in trouble and we told her we understand it was not her fault but we could definitely say that several people who were seated 10-15 minutes after us (before her large table arrived) had already eaten their food and were about to leave when we finally got our food. Don't get me wrong when we finally did get the food it was delicious and I even bought a cupcake for the road but unless I have almost two hours for lunch, I don't think I will be back for awhile. The waitress promised next time that we would not have to wait for an hour for food but it was disappointing that she could not have the guts to get a manager or even offer a brownie or something for free! We even had to run out to put more money in the meters so we didn't get a ticket just to wait for the bill. more

My review is based on the bakery only. Do not get their canolis! First of all, they were filled with something yucky, cream cheese or something. Second, they hardly had ANY filling inside the shell. The shell was pretty much hollow inside. If you want a real cannoli, go to a real Italian bakery. They will hook you up. Pros: nothing Cons: cannoli was awful more

Pronto! created our wedding cake and it was stunning! Not only was visually the showstopper of the wedding, the cake itself was to die for! I would suggest anyone to go to Pronto! for your wedding cake. more

I spent almost $2000 on my wedding cake, and it was falling over! I wish that I could post pictures, but the site does not allow me to. I had to cut the cake early and have it wheeled out of the reception room because it was going to fall over any minute! I ordered a five tier cake that was supposed to have separators between the layers, but the cake did not ""set "" right so they stacked all five cakes on top of each other and therefore it was going to fall over! I even paid extra money for the dividers between the cake. and they did not use them. The cake looked nothing like the cake I ordered. Also, I bought ribbon to be put on the cake and they did not even do that right either. It was supposed to go around each layer of cake, but the ribbon did not meet where it was meant to. The cake was an embarrassment! You could not have paid me to have this be my wedding cake, but unfortunately it was my cake! Do not get cake from Pronto if you want it to look good! My 'below average' rating is for this visit only. My fiance and I generally enjoy our meals at Pronto but have found it to be pretty inconsistent of late. We had a late afternoon lunch on Friday. The place was fairly busy with lots of folks on the patio soaking up the last of summer. \r \r I ordered the Mediterranean salad and my fiance had Patti Smith's Paradise sandwich. The avocado slices in the sandwich really make it happen--too bad they arrived on the sandwich hard and inedible. Rather than being soft and delicious, the slices were crisp like an apple. No good! Both the tomato on her sandwich and the tomato on my salad were mealy and unappetizing. The chicken on my salad was overcooked, thus dry. It appeared to have been sitting around for some time. We informed our waitress of our feedback but she seemed fairly indifferent. \r \r We're certainly in rush to get back there. Royal Oak offers plenty of other tasty options.
