Pro Tint

Terrible customer service and Josh is the worst!!!! I also agree with another reviewer who stated they say one thing on the phone but tell you something totally different when you get there. Additionally, after being serviced, my car had to be cleaned because they were very messy. They obviously do not take a lot of pride in the work they do and they don't seem to care about return business or referrals. I had to ask for my receipt and details on the service that was performed. more

I would go into detail on the laundry list of terrible service that I got from a ONE TIME experience with this poor excuse for a place of business but I dont feel like typing that much, and I am not sure how many ""characters""this review allows. So I will just put it into perspective for you. \r My 7 year old daughter is my world, my heart, and the reason for me getting out of bed every day. With that said I WOULD RATHER SLAM HER HAND TWICE IN MY F150's DOOR AND WHEN SHE STARTS CRYING PUNCH HER IN THE FACE THAN SPEND A PENNY IN THIS PLACE.\r They are real cool til they get your money then you are a nobody. And if there is a problem with their work, it had to be something you as the consumer did (which there is no way I did) cause ""there is no way they did that "". \r This place is total BS and anyone who read these revies would be a fool to go to this place. My problem went all the way to the owner and still got resolved at bare minimum and is costing me $600.00 at another place this spring to fix thier F up. \r 12 reviews, 8 - 1star (only cause u have to hit something) 1 - 2 star and 3 - 5 star (which are obvioulsy friends and family tring to save face for the TRUE REVIEWS that were posted by real people. \r \r Thats myy review, I hope it helps your decision, and if you chose to do business with them, GOOD LUCK.... you are going to need it. more

My husband bought me a gift certificate to have the windows tinted on my BRAND NEW kia forte. I took the car there and dropped it off for 7 1/2 hours. When I get the car back I see that the rim has been damaged and has yellow paint on it. I took it to them the next day ( they closed as soon as I picked it up) and they said "" it didnt happen here, this was caused by high impact"" He opens the garage and there sits a yellow jack in the floor!! They ran my car against that yellow jack or a lift and accept no RESPONSIBILITY! AVOID THIS PLACE!! more

I took my sister here to get wheels for her car. The salesman was very eager at first. Then she picked out the ones she wanted. We were told it wouldnt take to long if we wanted to wait. Four hours later we were on our way. We get 5 miles down the road and the steering wheel starts vibrating(pretty bad at times). I call the next morning to see if i could get it looked at. Man on the phone said sure just bring it in and we'll take care of it. Next morning we get there as soon as it opens. 2 hours later the main guy (josh) drives the car and says there is nothing wrong. We persist that there is a reason for a vibrating steering wheel. Evidently Josh missed out of balance day at tire class. They eventually take the car back and look at it. Amazingly they found the problem. One of the straps for the tire sensors they put on came loose causing the problem. We leave again. Drives good for 1 day and it back to the same problem. These guys do not stand behind their product. They make every excuse that its not their fault. There were 3 other people complaing of their new tires while we were there. Very unprofessional staff. So if you want a cheap set of wheels and tires that will make your smooth riding vehicle rattle like a baby toy then I suggest you take your car here. more

They were fantastic, fair priced, great work, couldn't of had a better experience, my car had never looked so good, i highly recommend any one who is thinking of having there windows tinted to have it done at pro tint.... Use only if you like dirty boot prints all over your seats, carpet, console, and seatbacks. Terrible customer service!! Pros: Can't think of any Cons: Horrible job! Boot prints all over my interior and I spent an hour cleaning it! more

The next day after looking at the tint job on my vehicle, I noticed several areas where the tint had air pockets near the edges of the windows. Not only that, but the insides of the windows where left all smeared up and there were scuff marks all over the rear of my vehicle as well as dirt and debris. Furthermore, I did not use my windows for a full week or so after that so as to not ruin the tint job. The very first time I used my rear power window thereafter, the window had been broken (not the glass, but the mechanics down inside the door). It wasn't like the motor stopped working, it was like it had been pushed out of alignment which caused further stress on the mechanical parts which caused it to brake. I never have passengers in my car, particularly in the rear, which is where the broken window is. The window worked just fine prior to having been tinted. This repair is going to cost $200 and that is not counting what it will cost if the window needs to be re-tinted! Looking back that day, I remember a customer who was waiting on her vehicle that day and was complaining about how much trouble she has had w/Pro Tint getting them to resolve her issue. It must have been an omen. Cons: Quality, Workmanship and Service. more

pro tint is great i love there work! they are very busy everytime i go there that in its self shows how good they are because everybody wants them to do there cars! the only down side is how long it takes but they've always made it known it would be a wait to get work done. i wouldn't wait on that kind of work anyway its a service on your car drop it off! I own several vehicles and have had stereo, window tint, etc. done and various places and this was by far the worst place! The other reviewer was correct, once they get you in they could care less about how you are treated! I would highly recommend Roberts on shelbyville rd. instead!! I have been a customer at ProTint for many years and have had multiple things done to my cars including new tires, remote starts, stereo installation and mutiple window tints between my husband and I. There is nothing more I can say but complete satisfaction with the job well done and in a timely manner! I highly recommend Pro-Tint! I was wanting to get remote start put on both of my cars, so I paid for both up front and took the first car up to get it fixed, he didn't call me back 10 minutes later to tell me they didn't have the part but 5 hours later. I was told to return in 2 days and they would do it first thing. The person that was supposed to do it worked at another location that day but they didn't tell me that for 6 hours and then told me I would have to wait because it would not be ready that day either. So it took 3 days to get my remote start put into one car. Pros: They do good work Cons: they leave you hangin' then won't take care of you more

The owner's only priorty seems to be bringing the customers in the door. Initial inquiry over phone, the owner gave me an impression that a tinting job can be done within a reasonable time. So it could my fault thinking that a reasonable time means 4 hrs or less. I had waited for 2 hours in the shop and my car was just sitting in the parking lot. While I was waiting I made several inquiries, I was always told that I will be taken care of as soon as possible. In my last inquiry (at the 2 hr mark) the owner told me there is still one car ahead of me. I left since I might have to wait 4 more hours. The best part: I got to catch an episode of ""Jerry Springer"" and ""Judge Mantis"". Pros: Lot of time for ..., TV Cons: Service or lack of it more
