Definitely the BEST management company I have used in over 56 years of owning rental property. Friendly and responsive to me and my/our tenants for over five years. Has pride in what they do and how they do it. I just wish they could manage the properties that I have in other areas. more

I am apparently the first landlord with negative feedback. They were great for a while until we wanted to move back from out of state and asked them to facilitate that for us. They contacted our tenant and made everything happen. When we get back to our house, we have a few concerns about damages, which they did not want to even consider as it ""may make the tenant mad"" and decided to just hand over everything to us. What is the point of having a management company who refuse to listen to the people they work for and refuse to manage when it comes down to the wire. Find a different property management company if you are a landlord in Austin. Also, one of the partners is a complete jerk and infuriated me just about every time we talked. more

I just want to say that I have been renting from Prime Properties for 5 years and Im very pleased with their demeanor with me as a tenate. What I love most about them is they treat you like family and adress any concerns imediately.Kim is the sweetest to work with and as for John he seems very understanding... They respond promptly to maintenance problems and with great proffesionalism. This matters most to me as a tenate.No matter what Prime Properties is very curtiouse and overall a great realestate company.My mother is disabled and needed a safe home in a safe neighborhood she fell in love with this property and was on a section 8 voucher program when others turned her away Prime Properties excepted her and we have been living in this property since love the home very maintained and love the people at the office.So anyone thinking about renting from them should they are great and very caring. more

As an out-of-state property owner, it is crucial that I can depend on my property management company to help me effectively manage my property and maximize my investment. Over the years, I have encountered several unscrupulous property managers and had to deal with many problems that resulted from their actions as well as their non-actions. more

Do not get into a lease with these people!!! Not a good experience!! more

Property management companies aren't fun to deal with as a renter anyway...but this one is really BAD!! The owners are not people you want to do business with. One acts like he doesn't know what's going on and the other one is just plain RUDE! Good cop bad cop or something dumb like that. Just not people you want to be locked into a contract with for sure!!!!!!! Keep looking if you're looking to rent!! more

I like all of the positive reviews from property owners...I'm sure they do treat you nicely. However, if you rent from them get ready to be treated horribly!!!RUDE and charge outrageous fees. STEAR CLEAR of this company....they are not nice at all! more

Wonderful company to work with! Our property has never been vacant for longer than a few weeks thanks to Prime Properties. They take care of everything from finding tenants, repairs and so much more. We are military and not stationed in Austin and it's great to know that everything will be taken care of for us. We recieve a rental check every month and the rest is taken care of for us! Great company and couldn't imagine not working with them! more

I have owned my rental property in Austin for about 5 years now. John and Larry are wonderful. Whenever I call them they spend a lot of time answering my questions and letting me know what's going on with my property and how the real estate business is in general in the Austin Area. If my tenant has any issues they solve them right away. more

John and his team know this business and have helped us for many years. They are professional, efficient, trustworthy, and demonstrate high standards for their services. As a renter - this company is completely unreasonable. They will charge you for every little thing. Charge 160% interest for 5 days late. Don't rent from them - EVER!! I'm going to get out as fast as I can. One of their owners is rude & sarcastic - the one you will have to deal with when it comes to your money. He's a lawyer - go figure!! more

After experiencing problems with a difficult tenant I decided I needed a management company to handle my property. Prime Properties exceeded expectations from the very beginning. Not only did I receive personal phone calls updating me regularly of important changes/decisions, but they also mail monthly summaries that are highly detailed accounting of the expenses and receivables. Perfect for end of year taxes. more

would not recommend this company to ANYONE! I rented from them for over 2 years and after the second time they increased my rent without notifying me, I had enough. I attempted to discuss signing a new extended lease for lower rent and one of the co-owners told me to type up a proposal and when I did he informed me they didn't do extended leases. Basically wasted my time. Then I found another home with more square footage in the same neighborhood for over $100 less a month. Upon moving out they charged $129 to clean the carpets... fine the move-out instructions said the carpets had to be professionally cleaned. Then they charged $130 to ""clean"" the empty house I just cleaned. My husband even stopped by with the other owner doing the walk through and he told my husband the place looked good. So now they say the blinds were dusty and a couple of other petty observations and that makes them think they have the right to spend $130 of my money. The person I spoke to about it was condescending and continually repeated that they were sorry I felt the way I did. Ridiculous! $130 is a good deal of money and whoever they have doing their cleaning is making a killing. I would never hire someone for that amount to do what they are ""claiming"" needed to be done. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! more

I have two properties - currently only one is managed by Prime Properties and the second one is soon to be under their management as well. Staff is very responsive, responsible and honest. They got my property rented within 2 weeks in the middle of December! I believe this is due to a good listing/network and guidance on rental market/how to set my price to ensure a fair rate and a quick transition. My other property sat for 5 months including spring months with very little guidance from the other management property. I will be switching to Prime Properties for this property as well as soon as I can. Property management companies have a fiduciary duty to their clients, and Prime Properties takes this very seriously. As a busy professional, I need someone that will not only collect a rent check for me but will help me manage and service my property, have my best interests in mind and support me with expert market guidance.
