Poshe' Salon is wonderful!!! I have been going there since they opened and have always been treated very respectively. Rachel Ware is magnificent with hair design and color , she does a fantastic job everytime I come in , she makes me feel like family and always helps me find the right color and highlights that I'm trying to achieve with great success!! I highly recommend Rachel Ware to anyone who is considering color/highlights and a hair makeover or cut, the results you will get are amazing!!!!!! more

Flat, fine mousy hair transformed to look fuller and more vibrant with a good cut and highlights. 7/29/2008

Julie has been my hair stylist for about 8 years. When she moved to Poshe Salon, I moved also. I have very difficult hair to style. It is fine, straight, lacks body and is mousy brown with some gray creeping in. Julie makes my hair come to life with blonde highlights, a shoulder length cut, and slight layering. It makes my hair feel fuller, and have a more youthful appearance. Julie has always been professional, and is very personable. more

Ruined my Hair--took more than a year to grow it back 7/25/2008

I really don't recommend this place. I went in and the stylist (new, middle-aged blonde from Boston) gave me a terrible haircut! I was growing it out and very happy with my new length, just needed shaping and she cut off all my growth and made my hair look terrible. She gave me a mullet. Probably not going to go back 7/23/2008

I have been a customer at this salon many many times over the last 2+ years. I was very impressed by the pricing and the services provided and they have added on since then. I had hair extensions put in and highlights to match for my wedding last year and although it was a pricey ordeal, the two stylists did a great job. Great deal for the whole family. 7/9/2008

My whole family goes there for haircuts. I think they do a excellent job. The price for a man's haircut might be a little high, but my husband keeps going back there, because he loves the haircut. They haven't raised their prices on us, which we appreciate. I have noticed that you have to ask them to wash your hair, otherwise they may not, especially with kids. Pros: Always on time, great value, good haircuts more

AMAZING Service 6/24/2008

I went to Poshe salon today and was helped by Rachel Ware. She made me feel instantly at ease. I am normally unsure about the style and cut I want, and she helped me find a color and a cut that would look great on me. Pros: Friendly service, not crowded, fair prices more

Kevin has a completely different way of putting on solar nails and it only takes 20 minutes! They look great, last a long time and he can usually fit you in the day you call. You always get a new set of nails every visit! Pros: quick service when you need it more

Great Customer Service 6/12/2008

A friend recommended this salon to me and I have been hooked ever since. I've had waxing done by both Lan and Man and they are both AWESOME. I get my nails done regularly by Lan and she is fantatistic and very warm and friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone I talk to. Good job Posche!!! more

Wow! Excellent service and excellent results!!!! 6/6/2008

I had the pleasure of going to Poshe Salon yesterday as a first time visitor and was not disappointed! Having called on the same day to set up an appointment, they were able to accommodate me after work and I ended up staying until an hour after they closed with my stylist! Kim was very attentive to what I was looking for as well as giving suggestions for what might work best and never made me feel like I was being indecisive or the process was taking too much of her time. It was perfect since I had been looking for a new hairstylist and now I most certainly have one! The price was right and the look is more than what I even expected. I got my hair cut, styled, and colored perfectly! She went way above and beyond and everyone at work loves it (one co-worker even took my picture and Kim's business card from me because she said she must be awesome after seeing my new look)! I couldn't be happier and will definitely only be going there in the future. They are open 7 days a week and also offer other services such as waxing and nails. Very convenient and awesome! Thanks again Kim! :) Pros: Service and affordability!! Cons: None! more

Perfection! 5/25/2008

I've been to Poshe's now about three times and had my hair cut there. I've worked with Kim and Julie. I have never been more happy with my hair!! On top of the stylists' incredible knowledge and skills, it's SO inexpensive!! You cannot find a better deal in the Portland metro area. The quality is so awesome, I tip 100% because you get a $70 haircut for just $20. Awesome! Pros: excellent sytlists, affordable, flexible hours Cons: why does it have to be all the way out in Hillsboro!! more

Perfect Solar Nails! 5/13/2008

I accidentally discovered Poshe Salon in a mad search for a new nail tech. I went to Poshe Salon early one morning and met with Kevin. He did my nails perfectly, it was not painful at all when he took my old ones off. They have over 50 colors of powder. I love my nails and will continue going there. Highly recommended. Lame 5/6/2008

I chose to visit Poshe salon because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. My experience was the opposite. The negative experience started out with the teenage receptionist calling me ""hun"". When I showed up for my appointment, I was told that the stylist was running behind and it would be a 30-minute wait. I was given no apology or explanation; or any accomodation for the inconvenience. When I did meet with the stylist Rachel, I found she was friendly enough and seemed to be experienced, but I felt like she was dictating what style to give me and not really listening to what I was requesting, even though I was very clear and brought pictures. I felt very rushed and she pulled the cape off without asking if I liked what she had done or was satisfied. When I went to the counter to pay, I was ignored for 2-3 minutes as I stood right at the desk, right in front of the girls. Rachel was courteous enough to come over and take my payment, or God knows how long I would have been standing there...very unprofessional; I will not return. more

Fantastic Salon 4/22/2008

I moved to Oregon this past fall and was lucky enough to come across Poshe salon right away. Both Tony and Kim have cut and colored my hair with great results, but once Rachel did my hair I always make sure I make my appointment with her now. She is always open to my ever changing whims on cut and color choice. With the current color I have (a nice auburn with coppery highlights) I continually have people compliment it thinking it is my natural hair color! While the prices are a bit on the high side, you just can't beat the skill and talent of the stylists at Poshe. Pros: Parking, Easy to get appointment, Friendly service Cons: A little pricey more

A new me! 4/7/2008

Called Poshe on Thursday, got in for a cut, partial highlight and brow wax on Friday - cannot tell you how many comments I've gotten on my hair! Am going a bit gray, looking like a ""Gramma"" (thanks, sis) and sort of knew what I wanted. Kim was amazing....she looked at some pix I showed her, listened to me, then explained why some things would and wouldn't work. I ended up with what my husband describes as ""smokin' hot"" hair, and a week plus later am still getting stopped at work by people who love it! She did ""lowlights"" rather than high - better gray coverage, and looks very natural; and her haircutting skills were spectacular....haven't had a cut this good since I went to Sassoon in the 70's. As for the wax job - it is the very FIRST time I have had a brow wax that didn't look like I had a localized sunburn for a week or longer afterwards...NO PINK at all! Overall the salon was clean, busy and staff were attentive and friendly....new salon's can freak me out, but they made me very comfortable. Thanks, Kim...I will be back! more

Lily, gives me the best cut's and perm's. Treat's me like a Queen. Always a big hug and smile. The prices are good. My daughter and granddaughter go to Poshe to. I like getting my nails done and the great chair massage leave me so refreahing. (Shirley) Pros: easy to get to, great parking more

Perfection in quality & service! 4/2/2008

I have to be the pickiest person I know & Kevin manages to create a flawless masterpiece with my nails every time! I've been a nail-biter ever since I can remember, so I've been getting my nails done consistantly since I was 16. I followed my previous nail tech all over the Portland metro area until about a year ago when she moved too far for me to follow :) I panicked! Since then I've tried quite a few different places but no one could compare. Until Kevin came along... He allows me to be picky and obsessive and just goes along with it, never saying a negative word. He just shuts me up with his perfection. more
