Ken Meyer provided me with such a thorough and detailed inspection report. Everyone who has seen the report has been amazed with the length (~70 pages) and level of detail of the report. There were plenty of pictures and descriptions for each picture that explained exactly what was wrong. more

I was present for all four hours of my home inspection. Even my realtor was impressed. Ken answered my questions as we went and showed me what he found. The only exception being the roof, but he takes lots of photos to help detail what he finds. In his report he breaks down what issues are urgent, and which ones need to be monitored. He explained how I could address some of the smaller issues myself. Something I particularly appreciated was as we went he pointed out things like the water shut off, sewer access, filters that would need changing and more, helping me become familiar with the house. He had the pictures from his digital camera uploaded on a lap top for us to look thru before he left, and the inspection report itself is put online for the customer to view. From there you can also share it or save it. His report was posted promptly. Both my experienced real estate agent, and lender remarked based on his inspection report that if there was anything to find, he would find it. I will recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection and feel confident that I know the strengths and weaknesses of the property I am buying. more

Ken Meyer did an exceptionally thorough and accessible home inspection for me. He identified issues large related to safety and small related to maintenance and everything in between. I live in Connecticut and am purchasing a home in Portland. Being an engineer I am highly selective and somewhat cynical about people who do work for me. Ken fully met all my critria and provided an extremely thorough and detailed review of the home. He went the extra mile and although I have never met him personnally (we communicated via phone and email), his work was professional, knowledgeable and was really easy to work with. Ken did an awesome job on our inspection. He was super accommodating with scheduling the appointment and was willing to work with our tight schedule. He really took his time going through the house and noting things. When you're spending the money to buy a house you want to make sure you're not throwing your money into the bottomless money pit. Ken spent just over three hours inspecting a very small (720 sf) home for me. He did not leave a single stone unturned! He not only pointed out all the problems but also took the time to explain which were large problems and which were minor; I've never bought a home before, so I really appreciate his doing that. His inspection report was 46 pages long, filled with color photos, and easy for a layperson to understand. Ken was great! He was very professional and his inspection of our new home exceeded our expectations.
