Worst

So I went up here several weeks ago to trade in some things that I no longer had a use for but didn't find anything to use my trade in credit on. I was told not to worry about it...

So I went up here several weeks ago to trade in some things that I no longer had a use for but didn't find anything to use my trade in credit on. I was told not to worry about it because I could come back anytime to use it. Well that turns out to be almost useless. I found a game that I wanted on their website and tried to use that trade credit, but it wouldn't let me. So I call the store and see if they can order it for me and I am told that they can not order anything that is ""old"" from their distributor. When I mentioned that they have the game on the website I was told that that it their parent company and they have nothing to do with them other than paying franchise fees. I am most disappointed because I now have trade credit that I can only use at their store and only on things they have in stock. Needless to say I will be spending the credit and not going back again. more

We brought the system in the store on the 22nd and had it fixed by the 23rd. They saved our Christmas! I highly recommend doing business with Play N Trade. I'm very thankful that they could come through for us so quickly. more

If you need repairs on game systems - GO ELSEWHERE!! 11/18/2010

5 months ago my son brought in his PSP 1000 to be fixed. For 4 months they gave him the run around about its whereabouts. I got involved in this nonsense and when I demanded to speak with the owner I got more runaround. It has become clear that Kevin (owner) WILL NOT get on the phone but has others relay messages, almost always the ""im working on it."" The item we brought in was to have a $20 fee to repair, 5 MONTHS later I am finally told that unit was going to cost too much to repair (obviously they lost/sold ours) so what we will do for you is sell you a used one for $80!!! (I am told the new version of this system brand new is $110.)This took almost a week of screaming to achieve. This is beyond unacceptable. When I called back to try to speak with the manager yet again im told he wont be back to work for over a week. I am so tired of the crappy customer service and lack of work ethic people have when dealing with the public. If you have the chance to go to any other store please do. My issue is not with all Play n Trades JUST THIS ONE!!!!\r Kevin - you or your manager have my name and number - if you care to work on fixing this issue - call me. more
