DON'T USE PLANET ORANGE!!!!! I paid thousands of dollars to have my house treated for termites by Planet Orange a few months ago. Now that I'm ready to paint my house, our contractor found colonies of LIVE termites on 3 sides of our 2 story home! The areas were NEVER treated! The Campbell employee, Stephen Casey, treated our home and confirmed that the home was never treated in those termite infested areas. I've called 6 times to get the "satisfaction gaurantee" that Planet Orange advertises to no avail. I am put on hold up to 30 minutes, promised a call back from Stephen Casey 3 times, (never happened), and feel now that this is a very poorly run company! more

Sick kitties and Argentine ants 9/6/2013

We have two problems: ants from South America and vomiting kitties. Our kitty buddies usually have garden time when we're home. On spray days, we keep them in until the sprayed surfaces are dry to the eye and my hands come up clear for spray residue, which is any where from a few/ several hours to an entire day. This is the third month in a row where our kitty buddies have become ill and vomited throughout the night. Over exposure? Planet O was chosen eleven months ago, based on their "Child and Pet Safe" product label and customer reviews. Up until 3 months ago and the first couple of months when we started with Planet O, everything was going as planned - the kitties had their garden and the ants were put in check; our review would have been 5 stars all around. Now, i am asking myself, "What's the happy medium? At what cost?" We live on top of a gigantic ant hill. Argentine ants are persistent. Cats and dogs eat grass. Its a matter of the health and well being of our innocent pets. more

Planet Orange Termite gets the job done without the harmful chemicals 10/22/2009

I have small children and wanted to get rid of bugs in my house. I want to avoid chemicals as much as possible. Hence I called Planet Orange to get rid of termites and bugs in my house. They did the job in half a day around my house. The staff is on time and do a great job. The greatest thing is that they don't use chemicals and give gurantee. more

The tone was set with Jim and our informative phone converasation as he really explained the process without once being pushy. Being in sales I know pushy, he is truly passionate about his job and it showed through on our call. Next, Joseph was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and took the attic job which was defintely more difficult ! Two thumbs up... Additionally, Joseph was easy to speak with and explained the process thoroughly. He also advised me to look to P.O for Rodent protection as there was evidence of Rat droppings. (I need a quote for this service please). Thanks to Sean as he went the extra mile to discuss what he was doing to me and my 3 year old "on numerous occasions". He is knowledgeable and took great care to make our house look untouched. Both my wife and I are glad we had Planet Orange out and glad to have the opportunity to meet your staff. more

They did a good job, and I especially appreciated the caliber of the three men who came to my home and to a rental which I own close by. Jim Withers was thorough and knowledgeable and the 2 Davids handled the jobs nicely. I would recommend all three of them, and I would like them to check it in a year's time. more

Good spirit and enthusiasm; needs more focus. 2/16/2009

I feel better using a safer product, and the local team worked quickly and well. I'd like to see more concentration while inspection is underway. Less conversation with me, the homeowner, and more focus on the termites. more

Great people, great service, great products 2/16/2009

I'm pleased to find an alternative to traditional tenting for termite eradication. I feel much happier knowing that our home environment is safe structurally and free from harmful chemicals. I am waiting to see over the course of time, how effective the treatment will be. I do feel confident that it will be the best one we have used to date. We have tried numerous kinds, short of tenting to keep termites at bay, something we seem to have to do living in the Santa Cruz area. The inspectors James and Justin and the service providers Kenan and Ryan were thorough, friendly, informative and professional. The people Planet Orange has chosen as personnel is a vote of confidence. I have high hopes for the termite treatment to our home! more

Great company, staff and very infromative. 2/12/2009

The inspection estimator was very informative and through. I was very impressed with the extent of the inspection and he advised me of all the areas of concern, what was causing the problem, the solution and the benefit of using orange oil. I was very impressed. The men who came to do the job were professional, clean, through and answered all our questions. I will highly recommend them to anyone. The price was better than quoted with a nice discount and the teams were on time as promised and non-intrusive even during business hours. Orange oil did not affect my business so we could keep working as they did there work and after. more

Excellant Company from beginning to end. 2/12/2009

Very efficient and fast because they previously conducted a thorough inspection and mapped any and all areas that needed for the solution to be applied to. When the team came to actually apply the solution there were no guessing as to where the areas were for the application. There were no tenting and covering plants moving out of the home other things that had to be done, like they other companies require which is time consuming. I give Planet Orange five stars. more

Everyone at Planet Orange has been great to work with. They're courteous and respond promptly. They've been able to beat out every other termite company bid by as low as several hundred dollars and as high as $2,000!!! I am recommending Planet Orange to all of my clients! more

I like the non-toxicity of Orange Oil and the assurance/warranty that the work is effective. 1/26/2009

Since the work was only completed 2 days ago, I am not able to give an opinion about the effectiveness of the orange oil. I notice that one of the workers wore a mask when he was doing my garage, but I assumed from what they and the salesperson told me, that it was safe for me. However, I have had to leave the garage door open since they left 2 days ago because the orange fumes are so strong that my throat and chest feel tight. My car is still out of the garage because of the overwhelming odor of the orange oil. more
