Worst

The Doctors are good, seriously. This is not a critique of them. The back room nurses/assistance are quite good as well ... but the front desk and the manager of the Austell off...

I was seen by Dr. Brooks at their Douglasville office. The wait time to get to the back was not long and the front office staff was pleasant enough. After being put in a room, it was a long time before Dr. Brooks came in, I assume after viewing a week old x-ray. He asked if I had insurance. I said no. He said that if I did he would have put me in a walking boot, then walked out of the room. A nurse followed with two ace bandages and the piece of white stuff they use at the hospital to make a splint. I felt very like they did not care at all that I was in need of treatment. I received my bill only a few days later, even before the ER bill and was shocked to find it nearly $300 after they deducted the $150 I gave them when I went for the visit. I called and left a message with Angela, Dr. Brooks' account manager. She called back the next day to tell me that the bill was accurate and that no adjustments would be made. These people do NOT care about their patients, only about their pocketbooks! At least people with insurance are given a discount, but because I cannot afford insurance, I was treated like a low class citizen and I refuse to allow this to go unanswered! The doctor never even looked at my ankle, only told me that I had a lateral malleus fracture; I had to research to find out what that was. more

Doctor with the GOD complex 2/5/2010

many of you may not agree with me, but I have a real problem with Doctors forgetting that I pay them for their services. I have been in the service industry for many years and know for a fact that if i was to tell my customers that i was not going to install a air conditioner or repair the one they have because i dont like the way they keep their house I wouldnt be in business very long. If you dont mind having a doctor that's going to control your personal life also then you will like this practice. I hope the health care bill gets passed because at least i will know that the doctors that stay in business are the ones that truely want to practise medicine. the ones that have childhood control issues will more than likely leave because then the government will be telling them what they can and cant do! Karma always comes around doesnt it :)\r \r UPDATE: get this. then he sends a certified letter to my house hoping to get my wife or someone in a uproar. It didnt work because my wife knows everything about me, but for many people out there that dont tell spouse everything you do it could possibly cause a divorce. I would say that Dr. L is down right nasty. more

Great place to be treated like dirt by a staff member\r by jlou1951\r September 25, 2009\r I am an established patient,of Dr.Yong S.Lee. I had an appointment on Friday,September 11th,at their new location. I got turned around,as to where the building is located,as it's only the 2nd time I've been to this location,and the first time my husband took me there. I was 15 minuetes late,because of the above,and was refused to be seen,according to a young woman/staff member,named Jody. She said she would go back and ask Dr.Lee if he would see me,since I was 15 minuetes late. She came back,said he wouldn't see me,I'd have to reschedule.I asked her why I couldn't be reprimended,for being late,and told not to be late next time, I also told Jody to tell Dr.Lee I would find another doctor,she supposedly went back to tell Dr.Lee this,and she came back and asked me if I wanted my records to take to another doctor. I told her I've had to wait 45 minuetes to an hour to see Dr.Lee before,and she said that was why ""he was adopting a new policy."". I got an epidural in August,and it was 2 hours past the time I was suppose to get the epidural. I have seen signs in doctor's offices,that say if you are over 20 minuetes late,you will have to be rescheduled,but not in Pinnacle Orthopaedics.Upon seeing Dr.Lee,after rescheduling,he said Jody never came back to talk to him,that he is in the back seeing patients,and doesn't know what goes on up front. I'm not sure if Jody worked for Pinnacle,when it was at the old location,I don't remember seeing her before. She was very rude,and obnoxious to me. So, I don't know who is being truthful,Jody,or Dr. Lee. I like Dr.Lee,and I think he is a good doctor,I gave this one star rating because of rude Jody. If she is kept on staff,and treats others the way I was treated,the doctors will be losing some patients.\r I filled out a complaint form,but I suppose Jody must be in charge of that,because I have not heard anything from my complaint.\r \r Pros: Good doctors Cons: Rude,crude staff member more
