This is actually my first ever review but I was compelled to write one after the simply OUTSTANDING customer service I received from Pinnacle Automotive!!! I chose this shop truly based on the Google ratings and reviews and I am so glad I did! Everything the previous 5 star reviews said in their praise of this shop is 100% right on...no bull! And yes, they took care of me like I was their only customer and yes they expertly detailed the car afterwards (took me a couple of days to find and appreciate all the extra things they did). So, If you want a repair done right, great customer service, at a very fair price...go see Mark at his shop. You won't be disappointed :) Mark, many thanks to you and your fine staff. I was impressed by the reviews, I went there for a problem in my car. After their inspection I was asked more than 800 dollars for replacing some parts (whose market price is less than 200$ in total). The labor cost was almost 400$ for less than 2 hours work. I rejected their proposal (accepting to lose only 57$ instead of several hundreds). The day after, I went to another mechanic who replaced these parts (checked and replaced even more), and I paid only 300$, which is the fair amount for the task, I think. After this bad experience with them, I went back to the review sites to read the reviews again. After a simple analysis on all reviews on "google" and "city search", I had the feeling that the reviews about this business are fake. I have no proof of course, but there is a very significant pattern in the reviews: - Almost all are 5 star reviews - I analyzed all review dates: they have been entered in clusters around a few time intervals (e.g. in city search 35 5 star reviews in only two clusters that span each around ten days, similar in google). - Almost all 5 star reviewers have only a single review. Ive been meaning to post this review for a while but havent had the time recently, but here it goes! I can not recommend highly enough a better place to take your car for any type of service be it mechanical or auto body. I found Pinnacle Automotive & Tires through Yelp and, based on the reviews, decided to bring my car there for service. I had just bought a used 1982 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel and needed a good mechanic because I was going to use the car to commute from Philly to DC on a daily basis, so I needed my car reliable. I brought my newly bought car in for a thorough inspection (which I should have done before I bought it) and Pinnacle gave me a laundry list of problems. They were very nice however and well aware that I didn't have a lot of money, so they kindly told me what absolutely needed to be repaired and then helped me form a plan to take care of the other repairs in the future. Long story short, the Mercedes ended up being a money pit and I sold it lol. Then, I bought a 2009 VW New Beetle and decided to continue to use Pinnacle as my repair shop rather than the dealer just because of their superior customer service. Mark, Dennis, Demond, and the rest of the team are great. They know me by name and remember little details about me which really makes a difference. They always address me as Mr. Pinto and are always enthusiastic when they greet me. I'm picky when it comes to my car, so when I requested a specific type of oil be used during an oil change that they didn't carry, Demond went out of his way to special order the oil for me and get the oil change done within a matter of hours. Then, I got into an accident with my new car and did some body damage and damage to the rear axel. I took my car to Pinnacle and they arranged everything with my insurance company and got the job done efficiently. The work was spectacular, second to none,and you wouldn't even know that I had gotten into an accident. I was very very very pleasesed and cant thank them enough. At the time, I also had them change the oil in my car since it was at the shop anyway and the owner, Mark, was kind enough to give me a discount on those services since I just dropped close to $4000 in repairs at their shop. Trust me guys and gals, Pinnacle Automotive is the place to go to get your car serviced! They are staffed by wonderful people, expert technicians, and do exceptional work. Thank you to the staff at Pinnacle Automotive for excellent service. My family and I were heading toward Philadelphia for a weekend trip from out of state during the Chritmas holidays, when our Moutaineer began shaking violently. We were able to make it to your service center in the late morning. Mountaineer was diagnosed and repaired before the facility closed, thereby not stranding my family (including three children under five) in PA for multiple days. Brian and Dennis helped to load and unload the truck for us and were friendly and thoughtful with the children. While this may seem like just good customer service, we appreciate it - Thanks again! more

its so hard to find a good mechanic these days n ive been just about everywhere! I have finally found that great mechanic at pinnacle. Everyone from the owner, who took the time out to help me find the used parts i needed to bring the repair down to my price range, to the service adviser, who also worked with me on a lot of things, to the staff who were very curtious and held up traffic so i could back out safe, were all great. what a great place this is i would highly reccomend pinnacle to anyone looking to have any service done to their car. these guys are ok in my book. What else can i say these guys rock!!!!! Pinnacle has always given me the best service at great prices. You can try shopping around yourself and you'll see what i mean they use quality parts and are still able to be competitive with other shops and most of the time beat their prices and you know you arent getting ripped off with shody parts and bad workmanship. My car broke down on me 2 days ago after going through a car wash (or at least I thought it broke down), called AAA and we couldn't get it started. After reading Google reviews and on the recommendation of the tow truck driver, I called Pinnacle Automotive. Even though they closed at 5:30 and it was 6, the receptionist was SUPER nice and said don't worry, bring it right in. Dennis met me out front and greeted me with a warm smile and told me no worries, we'll take care of it for you, and I felt relieved. Dennis called me by 10am yesterday to say that actually all that had happened was my anti-theft key had been knocked out by one of the washers and they found it on my driver side floor mat. Even though they could have easily charged me the $125 for the diagnostic test, they waived the fee. I was SO pleasantly surprised by this, and will 100% be going back to Dennis and Pinnacle for my future car needs. Thank you!!!! more

I had a wonderful experience at Pinnacle Automotive AGAIN! I purchased a 2003 Certified Honda Accord in 2007 and took it to Pinnacle for the inspection and repairs, and this year I bought another Accord but the 2012 model and did the same. Dennis and Mark were great to work with. They all treated me like royalty and put up with my whiny temper tantrums from time to time through out the process. :) I cant imagine going anywhere else to service my vehicle. Is it possible to give zero stars to a place? It pains me to write such a negative review, but once you've been swindled out of hundreds of dollars and hours of time over the years, I can't help but let everyone else know about the crooks that run Pinnacle Automotive. I highly recommend this shop! As a women going to an automotive shop I am aware some shop owners may try to rip me off. Not these guys. They do great work and don't try to sell me on "other parts" that are not needed. more

I used to dread looking for a mechanic, I've had several terrible experiences in the past both in Philly and in other cities, it's a nightmare wondering if you're being ripped off. It almost seems like mechanics need to take a course in ripping you, and another one to learn how to be pricks. However, my tire tread got torn up, I was about to get a flat. I took a chance on Pinnacle, because their reviews looked great. The guy on the phone was very helpful, and made time for me, he didn't jut tell me, "come on in, and we might get to it when we get to it." I hate that crap, as if the rest of society revolves around their schedule. Not these guys. He told me exactly what to expect - if I got the car in by a certain time, his guy would have the tires in time to work on today, it'll be done before closing. The rates were reasonable, not cheap, but not a ripoff - you get what you pay for, and the quality of my service was WELL worth what I paid. I know I need an oil change right now, and my freon needs chargin. I look forward to handing over my truck to these guys, and I look forward to tipping him for a job well done. I have been going to Pinnacle ever since I moved back to Philadelphia over a year ago and I found them via online reviews. They made some major repairs on my car last year and when my car started having the same problems I took it back to them and they fixed it under warranty. I was shocked that they didn't charge me a thing and they were so professional and courteous! I love Pinnacle and would never even think about taking my car anywhere else! Thanks Guys! I went in today for the first time and had a very positive experience. It was only an oil change but everyone was so courteous and friendly and they finished quickly. It is best to make an appointment. more

I got four new tires and balance put on my bmw 525I. The wait time was pretty long just for a tire change. Service was really good, they even repaired a small bend in my rim. On the other hand price was pretty high, over 500 dollars if I remember correct. If you have low funds I would not recomend this place. more
