I write this review with the greatest appreciation and the upmost respect for the Pink Lotus Breast Center and Dr. Kristi Funk. After being told that I had breast cancer, I quickly scheduled appointments with a few different surgeons. Dr. Funk was my first meetings and my only meeting! From the minute I walked through the doors of the Pink Lotus Center I knew it special. No windows to slide open with some cold receptionist asking for license and insurance. The office is warm and open and really mirrored my experience with the entire staff. Dr. Funk talks to you like a best friend would, honest and completely open. Her knowledge in the field is stunning and her ability to teach scared women dealing with new and uncharted territory was a real gift and allowed me to feel very safe. As I told Dr. Funk, she is the most fantastic women I never wanted to meet! Dr. Funk explained everything that was going to happen in a way that made me believe I was going to get through this with her and her team holding my hand every step of the way and they did! I feel blessed to have Dr. Funk and the Pink Lotus Breast Center in my life. more

I was blindsided when I was dx with breast cancer. My doctor referred me to Dr. Krist and when I first met her I was a mental mess, full of fear. Her calm, direct, professional, yet oh so caring, manner gave me comfort and I knew I was in good hands. While I admit her youth took me back a bit when I first met her, I soon realized she's just one of those gifted souls. I feel VERY grateful to have her on my team. In a time when my world seemed turned upside down and uncertainty filled the air, it was a relief to know I was cared for by Kristi. I'm now 4 years cancer free and I'm still reaping the benefits of her skill as a surgeon. I can't say enough how incredible she is. Anyone who is diagnosed owes it to themselves to see her. Pink Lotus is an awesome wellness place too so women can get their annual mammograms there as well as. Pros: Dr. Kristi Funk, highly skilled minimal invasive surgeon Cons: no cons I can think of more

We have some odd things in common. And her name -- Kristi Funk? ? Definitely the coolest name I?ve ever heard. The bad news is that she?s the surgeon performing the breast biopsy she said I needed. I am admittedly anxious and have ADD, and that makes me hate going to the doctor. I created an account on Citysearch just to leave this review for the Pink Lotus Breast Center; simply because my experience was that good and I hope that other women will review this post and benefit from it somehow. "You have cancer!" Not words anyone ever wants to hear. But hearing this phrase come from Dr. Kristi Funk softened the blow. Her mission, and that of everyone in her office, is not only one of professionalism and excellence, but one of hope and confidence. Her new center is visionary; a word that evokes the future. In my case, knowing that I would have a future was my goal. While I did have cancer Pink Lotus Breast Center is not just about the disease, it's about prevention, information, diagnosis, wellness and all aspects of breast health issues. You feel at home in this environment. No attention to detail is left undone, from the most frivolous comfort of a warm spa robe for examinations all the way to life saving procedures and protocols explained in layman terminology. State of the art equipment and skilled team members help assure patients that every procedure and test will be done with as much accuracy as is possible. Being in Beverly Hills, Dr. Funk has treated celebrities. But celebrity or commoner, the sense of family prevails for EVERYONE. Dr. Funk rocks! I looked up this center before my first appointment, what a great website. Since it was good enough for Sheryl Crow, I didn't feel I had much to worry about. My expectations are pretty lofty but the care I received exceeded my expectations. I'm not surprised celebrities chose this facility over the hospital-based alternatives. I give it 5 stars. more

I have been to many doctors, clinics and hospitals. I first went to the Pink Lotus Breast Center after I felt a growth and my OB assured me that this was the best place to go in Los Angeles. I have never been treated this nicely in a medical center, ever! The staff, the facility, and my doctor were off the charts awesome, and I would recommend this breast center to anyone without hesitation! Pros: Can't beat the level of care I received here more
