Piano Shop

When i first walked into this store I was greeted not by an employee but rather several pianos with their fallboards closed. I noticed an employee seated in the back reading a book and completely ignoring my presence. I left the store and returned ten minutes later and decided i wanted to make my presence known so I lifted a fallboard and played one chord, this is when i found out the guy reading a book was actually the owner, ""Bob'. Bob scolded me and told me that the cost of repairing a fallboard was $1,800.00, in which I thought was a bit over the top since the piano I lifted the fallboard on was an old used spinet. This Bob, didn't offer any assistance that I would have expected an owner or salesperson to offer in regards to 'selling the product', he just ranted on at what it would cost to repair this piano, what Mr. Bob did not know is that I am a piano technician and I know the cost of repair, I actually contemplated asking him for a job repairing and tuning since he pays so much.. aside the humor of it all, I have many accounts in the bay area and many times my clients are looking for a good deal on a new or used piano, I can assure you that I will not send any of my customers to this place to be treated like I was.. more

I agree to some of the reviews for this store. Actually they don't have employees anymore, they are the owners, both the wife and the husband are so rude. They should not be running this store because they don't know anything about pianos and customer service. The reason why this store is still in business it's because of the piano group lessons and now they added guitar lessons. How I wish people will realized especially the parents that cheap is not the only reason why you have your kids take piano lessons here. There are a lot of piano teachers in milpitas areas that charges less and they are professional piano teachers not just a bunch of teenagers or college students. It's a waste of your time and money. They don't even pay attention to the kids, they don't care.... This store 0 star..but i can't because i'm required to put a rating...which sucks! more

You shouldn't go here if you want to enroll your children in music lessons. Some of the teachers are only in high school and are very unexperienced with music and teaching in general. The only good thing about this place is that it is inside a mall. The employees are rude, the place is small, and overall I would not even give this place 1 star. I stopped by this place while shopping at the Great Mall. One of the employees gave me a bad look when I entered and said, ""What do you want?"" I asked about the piano lessons and how much they cost, and the employee said, ""Sorry, but you need to ask someone else."" But no one else was there! I am never going back to this place again. I would not recommend this place for your children to have piano lessons. The employees are not friendly, the place is really small, and the teachers are not qualified. Don't waste your time by checking out this place. Pros: parking Cons: everything more

Group classes make learning slow, and teachers are not very experienced. Students are not challenged, and tuition is too expensive for the service they provide. Pros: it's inside the mall. after class, you can shop. Cons: service, slow-paced learning, not worth the money more
