Review content:
When i first walked into this store I was greeted not by an employee but rather several pianos with their fallboards closed. I noticed an employee seated in the back reading a book and completely ignoring my presence. I left the store and returned ten minutes later and decided i wanted to make my presence known so I lifted a fallboard and played one chord, this is when i found out the guy reading a book was actually the owner, ""Bob'. Bob scolded me and told me that the cost of repairing a fallboard was $1,800.00, in which I thought was a bit over the top since the piano I lifted the fallboard on was an old used spinet. This Bob, didn't offer any assistance that I would have expected an owner or salesperson to offer in regards to 'selling the product', he just ranted on at what it would cost to repair this piano, what Mr. Bob did not know is that I am a piano technician and I know the cost of repair, I actually contemplated asking him for a job repairing and tuning since he pays so much.. aside the humor of it all, I have many accounts in the bay area and many times my clients are looking for a good deal on a new or used piano, I can assure you that I will not send any of my customers to this place to be treated like I was..
