joanne? the salon is lucky to have her! to say that she is the best cutter, stylist, and colorist is an understatement....I am lucky enough to have known joanne for over 24 years....

Joanne in a word is fabulous! She does an incredible job every time I go to her. I so look forward to going to the salon and being treated to a relaxing experience. Partly because I KNOW that when I leave I will LOVE my hair. That thought alone goes a long way. The salon itself is very professional and contemporary. But Joanne and her staff are warm and inviting. I'm never made to feel uncomfortable as I have been in other salons. You need to treat yourself and experience Joanne! more

Joanne Melonas 3/16/2011

I have had my hair cut, highlighted and blown dry in Top Salons around the country including California, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia and Boston...yet no one has been able to achieve perfection like Joanne Melonas. She is an absolutely phenomonal stylist who pays attention to detail, listens to her clients and genuinely cares about the end result. Why would I travel in to Boston, when I have Joanne right down the street...she is Andover's ""BEST OF THE BEST"" and my hair has never-ever looked better!\r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r more

Joanne - You Won't Be Disappointed! 3/9/2011

Why travel to Boston when you get a better haircut by Joanne! I have tried many a salon in the city thinking you had to if you wanted the most up to date styles, cutting techniques, etc. Was I wrong! I discovered Joanne through a friend while living in Boston. She is so good, we use to do the reverse commute, coming out to Andover to see her. That was over 15 years ago! I have recently added highlights and could not be happier. Joanne takes her skill very seriously and knows that keeping up to date via training is of utmost importance. I have recommended her to family and friends and all have been very happy!! more

Joanne Melonas has been styling my hair for over 5 years--truly amazing. I thought I had to go into Newbury Street to get this level of excellence and was thrilled at how she exceeds my expectations at every appointment! She is eager to please and is always on top of the latest looks and products. People stop me constantly and I'm always thrilled to refer them to her. She has a fantastic attitude and is always eager to thrill her clients--a great listener, enthusiastic ""partner"" and truly makes every appointment special. more

Creativity At Its Best 2/27/2011

I am so happy to have found a place that I can shout out ""I Love My hair stylist Joanne"". I have been going to Joanne for over 16 years. She is the most talented stylist I have ever met. She will help you discover the perfect haircut and color to match your face and personality. There is not a single week that somebody doesn't comment on my hair. I have had people stop me everywhere I go. I have even started bringing my teenage daughter to her for cuts and highlights because no one does it better. She is happy ,fun and will make you feel so beautiul when you walk out the door! more

The look you'll love! 2/21/2011

I have been going to Joanne for over 10 years now. I first saw her after a botched cut and color job from a very expensive salon in Newburyport. After her suggetions on what would work for my hair texture and age, I'm now blonder and layers that work for my face. She is a pro!!!! I have had many compliments on my hair color and style. I would definitely go to Joanne if you have tried other salons and are still not happy. I have sent many neighbors and friends to Joanne and they are so happy too. more

Joann at Philip Ciampa Salon is an artist and will create for you a look and a style that will have people taking notice! It’s true! I’ve been everywhere and spent a small fortune searching for someone that actually listens to me when I try to explain what I want and need when it comes to my hair. I recently had a very bad experience at a salon that left me with a cut that I could simply not style to save my life. Someone suggested I make an appointment with Joann. She reshaped the cut and now my hair is a breeze to style and looks fabulous! Joann is really sweet. She's funny, animated and great at conversation but she also listens and will be honest in her opinion. Joann’s talent certainly can be attributed to her training and experience in the business but if you ask me she's simply an artist and she'll create a look for you that will make you feel confident and beautiful. I can truthfully say I have never received more compliments on my hair. No kidding, whether I’m out shopping or walking down the halls where I work, people will actually pass me and say, “I love your hair or what a great hairstyle”. Thank you Joann my search is over. I trust you and your ability to know what will work and what will not. I know that if I walk in one day and say I want something a little different I can trust you to give me that and more! Joann at Philip Ciampa...triple A! 11/27/2010

I tried Joann for the 3rd time last week for foils Brazilian Blowout and cut and I have to say she is so creative! Since my first visit with Joann I have been stopped on a weekly basis. My blonde high-lites look so natural and the cut is edgy and classy at the same time! I love her personality, fun, energetic, creative and her knowledge is beyond anyone I have ever met. Let me say I left my stylist on Newbury Street after 15 years and it has been the best experience! Try her, you will love her! Regards, Alison more

I have been getting my haircut and colored by Joann for the past 15 years. Never have I met anyone so creative and talented. She worked in Beverly Hills for 10 years and trained under one of the best salons there! She has an amazing vision so for someone looking to stay current with the times than she is the person for you. You won't go anywhere else once you sit in her chair!...Denise more

Best Stylist in the Business-------MONICA 5/18/2010

I was a long time client of Monica from Marc Harris and would have followed her anywhere. Prior to Marc Harris I was a client at two Newbury Street salons, and her skills are by far superior to anyone. Keisha at the front desk provides pleasant and accommodating service; great addition.
