Pete's Landscaping put in a lawn, and planted some plants in the front, and I am pleased with how those came out. I did run into a few problems, but I contacted the company and the owner actually came out and made things right. Pete’s will do a good job and ensure you are a satisfied customer. more

I normally don't write reviews on companies but I had too this time. I read other reviews from this company and it is very hard to believe these remarks. I called Pete's Landscape and they responded to my request immediately. They were very prompt with their estimate and very competitive. I then decided to hire Pete's Landscape and what an amazing job they did !! I would definitely recommend Pete's Landscape . more

Went to Pete's Landscaping yesterday and ordered 6 yards of gravel. They told me it would be at my customers house between 8am and 11am for sure. Went home and turned my phone off for 1 hour, when I turned it back on, I had 12 missed calls from Pete's. I tried to call them back to find out what was going on but they had already closed. The next morning, about 6:20am, they call. They tell me that they are going to deliver the rock right then. I said absolutely not, this is a customers house, and I am not even at the job site yet, and won't be until 8am. They basically said too bad, and told me they were going to dump it anyway. I talked to them for about 10 minutes when they told me they would have Pete call. Couple minutes later, Pete calls, I basically told him due to the customers request, they wanted me to be on the job site as the rock was being delivered and he said that is not going to happen, we're going to dump it now. I said you do not have permission to do this, restating that they had told me it would be delivered between 8am-11am. He said ""Look, I don't need your business and we're dumping the rock now."" I told him to cancel the order at this point and he hung up on me. When we arrived at the job site at 8, the rock was there, even after I told them to cancel the order. Pete's had delivered it onto the property without permission. Do not do business with this company. Unprofessional business practiced. I was bullied by Pete's Landscaping today and will never do business with them again more

Pete's Landscaping designed and installed a landscape for me about 3 or 4 years ago. I wasn't very happy with their service at the time, but what has really irked me is that the designer placed many plants requiring full-sun in areas of partial and complete shade. Now, years later, after two different maintenance companies have explained this to me, I understand why my landscape contains a bunch of lame shrubs and perennials that are not growing, blossoming, or doing well. I am currently in the process of replacing them with site appropriate varieties, and I'm bummed at the expense. Also, I requested a map of underground drip irrigation system to help with maintenance, but never received one. more

I have purchased my firewood and all my landscape materials from Pete's . The delivery driver has always been on time and very professional. Pete's has been in business for almost 30 yrs. not only have I ordered from this company so has my co-workers and all my family we have never had any problems and would highly recomend Pete's for all types of materials. more

I ordered gravel for my front yard. The company delivered it to the wrong address but did eventually deliver to me. I asked them to remove the gravel from the other house but they denied making the mistake. Since they didn't want to man up and correct their error, then I had to pay to remove the gravel. If they can't even own up to this little mistake, I wonder what else they would do without taking responsibility for it. more

I called Pete's landscaping hoping to get some gravel replenished in my front and back yard. I have three different types of gravel and asked if I could have someone come out and give a price estimate. I do not have a very big backyard or front yard area it would have been maybe about 3 yards of gravel total. The guy on the phone said that no one would be able to come out to do an estimate and that there was a minimum charge of 2,500 for any service!! My entire landscaping 2 years ago didn't even cost that much!! RIDICULOUS. It didn't sound to me like they care to get business. I suggest people take their business somewhere else, to a company that will be grateful to do the job no matter how big or small! more

These guys really do suck. I paid a high price expecting excellence in return. Crappy clean up and really crappy follow up to correct errors. I should have went with a less expensive outfit. more

The architect I used from Pete's pretended that he would take great care in the process. After drawing up a draft, I never saw him again. They took forever to get our concrete in and then forgot that it was supposed to be colored, so we ended up with regular cement. They sent some poor guy who was probably getting paid peanuts to create a kiva in our backyard. The thing ended up looking like a giant spaceship and has, since, cracked all over. The bushes they installed near the kiva grew so large that they were unmanageable. Anyone who knows what they are doing with plants would never have put in bushes that grow so large in such a small space. They also obstructed our view of the mountains. This company did more damage than if we had never hired anyone. Stay away!!! more

This company has been here for many years. Now I understand why they call themselves ""Petes Top Quality Landscape"". They did an excellent job on our landscape. They removed all our old sod & installed a beautiful landscape. From begining to end they were on top of their job Thanks Petes! Highly recommend your company more

I ordered and paid for 3 yards of gravel for landscaping. After it was delivered, I measured the pile and found that I have been shorted - they only brought 2 yards. When I called, they first denied that the sold gravel by the yard, and then later claimed that a ""yard"" was enough to cover 100 square feet to a depth of 2 inches. Do the math - that is only 62% of a real yard. They refused to do anything. The result is that I had to get more and it cost me almost double the quote I had received on the phone. NOTE: As of November 2009, this business has an ""F"" rating from the Better Business Bureau. Cons: Dishonest and Customer Unfriendly more

I hired Pete's landscaping for my business and for my home at the same time. The estimator/foreman (Leo) beware!! He comes off as a gentle man but no such thing. They don't back up what they promise. For my business I contracted with them to do $14k of work. Due to unfortunate circumstances job could not be completed. They were paid for the job they had already done and would not reimburse remaining money or material even though they had promised to do so. As a business owner, this is not good business practice. My business associate as well as myself called several times to negociate this but they kept coming up with excuses or would not return phone calls. I found out through some research this is their typical practice -stalling tactics hoping YOU go away and they keep your money. Now I'm suing them. As for my home, they also promised the world. I just wanted simply re-sodding of my grass. I live in a sandy area and the estimator informed me they would dig down and apply proper nutrients and more soil needed. They did no such thing. They just took old sod out and put new sod on top. The sod never meshed together and it burned up even when they programmed my sprinklers. They broke my outside faucet and I had a major leak. The estimator promised to come back to look at the grass but never did. I called about faucet and he denied this happening. I strongly recommend NEVER use them. Since they have bad business practices I have given a major contract to another company. If they had done the right thing the first time I would have re-used them. more

PETE'S LANDSCAPE PROVIDED US WE A COMPLETE LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION FOR OUR FRONT AND BACK YARD. THE SERVICE FROM THE TIME WE INITATED OUR FIRST PHONE CALL THEY ACTED PROMPTLY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. WE HAD FOUR OTHER COMPANIES COME AND GIVE US ESTIMATES AND NOT ONE OF THEM PROVIDED US WITH THE QUALITY OF SERVICE THAT WE RECEIVED FROM PETE'S LANDSCAPE. I am a returning customer of Pete's for over 15 years and have always been completely satisfied with the sales and service of this establishment both the landscaping and the fire wood. The Deliveries are usually given a four hour window but then again its better then an all day wait around time like the cable or gas companies here in town. We ordered and received the yard of gravel on Saturday. Monday we come home and they have delivered again! When contacted they denied that it happened even though we have 2 eye witnesses who saw the truck deliver the second load. We have no where to put it and no truck to move it and now we are just stuck with it. Customer Service????!!!! I would definately rate this company in the negatives. Cons: Customer Service more
