Peters Auto Works. 3/11/2011

Peters Auto Works is a very together shop. They are friendly, kind, courteous, and willing to bend over backwards to help you meet your repair needs. They also have loner cars as an added courtesy for customers. So if you don't have car for a day, they do their best to get you in a car and on your way. And they do it for almost nothing; it is just a five dollar fee no matter when you bring it back or how much gas you put in it. I would say Peters Auto Works is a shop that seems to really take pride in doing the best job they can for their customers. I started using them back when I moved here in April. Before that, I had used two different shops in California. Sometimes you wonder if the repair shops are doing things to your car to make you comeback, but I never felt that way with the shops I used to go to and I do not feel that way about Peters Auto Works. more

They did a great job. 3/8/2011

This was my first time going to Peters Auto Works. They replaced my alternator. They were very fast and they had great ideas to proceed. I was in a real pickle, and they bent over backward to make sure I was taken care of. They did a great job. more

What? Free? Like, no money? You sure you're in the auto serv 3/8/2011

""It's not often that I walk out of a car maintenance appointment and think, 'hey, that was alright'. That's pretty much happened like, never...until today. Jim Fisher Volvo had over a week wait for just an oil change and I promised myself never to go to Herzog-Meyer so I ended up googling Volvo service centers in the area and found Peter's. Gave them a ring and they told me to come right over. The office is pretty small but the service center are is pretty decent sized. The service was stinkin quick (check-up, oil change and find out why the check engine light was on). They gave me a run-down of what was broken and let me know what was really necessary and what was purely optional. Great office staff too. Friendly and laid back. On my way out I realized the check engine light was still on (because one of my rear lights was out) and they decided to just replace it for free while I was there. What? Free? Like, no money? You sure you're in the auto service business?"" more

I am a Volvo 3/1/2011

I am a Volvo. Well, almost. I ride in a Volvo so I guess I am a Volvo? Any who, this place was highly recommended to me by great owners of Volvo past. They are friendly, trustworthy, very knowledgeable, and straight forward. I mean, really can anyone find all of this in one auto shop? I have come here the last two and half years. From oil changes to regular check ups and diagnosis. Each visit has been highly satisfactory. The service is great too. Everyone is very friend and they have a puppy!! She is the cutest little husky I have ever seen. So docile and friendly, I mean if you consider sleeping friendly. Any ways, highly recommend it for the really Volvo owners. more

Visit here only if you have alot of money to blow. 7/25/2010

They charged why too much for diagnostics that did not come close to fixing a simple problem. They appeared to be too busy to deal with cars thoroughly. over-Charged alot for coolant top off. They gave fictious story about their own car problems to make customer feel better. more

Great shop and great people! 7/6/2010

We've taken our Volvos to Peter's for service and repairs for well over ten years. They talk straight with you regarding repairs and cost, and don't nickle and dime you with unneeded services. They even helped us sell our previous volvo when we felt it was time for a new one. We also take our 2004 BMW 530 to them for service! more

Helpful and accommodating for my schedule. They fixed the issue I had with them. 6/24/2010

I have an older car and it needs a lot of attention. Peter's Auto Works takes care of the issues and points out other things that are wrong. Older cars have a lot of issues. Typically the repairs hold up very well. All Peter's Auto Works works on are Volvos. It is all they do, so they know them inside and out. I had some issues with the lock they fixed, and I had to bring it back, but they were able to resolve it. They handled the issue, and didn't avoid it, which is good. RESPONSE FROM Peters Auto Work's: Stewart, Thank you for taking the time to send a review regarding your service with us. more

Very knowledgeable about Volvos. 4/29/2010

I have had multiple problems with my Volvo, and Peter's Auto Works has been very honest about the best course of action for me to take. I really appreciate that they have been so honest with me. They are very knowledgeable about Volvos. They told me that it didn't make sense to continue tinkering with the car; it would be too expensive. They let me know that the best options would be to buy a new car or get the entire engine replaced. I did not get that honesty elsewhere, and it was expensive. I really trust them with my car. When they fix something, it works out well. I took my mom's car for a tuneup and to change the timing belt, and my mom does not own a Volvo. They are a great group of people who want to give good customer service. more

Accommodating and great customer service. 4/23/2010

I have had my Volvo serviced at Peter's Auto Works for many years. It is approaching 200 thousand miles and still runs like new because of the excellent maintenance I've received from them. Not only are they attentive to my needs and accommodating to my schedule, they perform many little extras like washing and vacuuming even with out me having to ask. Peter's Auto Works really does great work, they are very accommodating, and the price is reasonable. They are very respectful of the fact that I am busy. They really treat their customers well and are great people to work with. more

The best Volvo mechanics anywhere. 6/21/2008

Don't go anywhere else. I drive from Vancouver, and these guys know Volvos better than anyplace else. This includes the dealerships in particular. Brian and the guys fixed more than one problem that the dealership either missed (during recalls & such) or caused. Don't go anywhere else! Pros: Expertise more
