Great Service & Friendly Staff 4/30/2013

The service was great as usual, but did have a surprise. Since bringing my present car for service, have always did so at around 3,000 miles and the sticker on my windshield indicated that was proper. The last two times I have noticed the sticker indicates I only need to bring it in every 5,000 miles. Checked with Brian and it seems since my car uses synthetic oil this is not the proper mileage. This just caught me by surprise since I had always been told previously that 3,000 miles was the indicator for an oil change. Gordon more

In and out quickly for an oil and filter change. Inspection revealed a few items that need attention, prioritized by importance. Very knowledgeable in helping me keep my 240 running great. more

Warranty work without a question & a loaner 4/28/2013

A new part, from Volvo, failed, requiring Peter & Co. to take my car apart again, replace the failed Volvo part, and then reassemble. Total cost to me? $5.00 for the loaner car. Great service. more

We used to own Volvos and take them to Peters, but we sold them and now take our BMW there anyway. They do everything by the book and tell you what they can do and do that well. Friendly people and eager to help with whatever problem you are having. more

Quality work and good advice 3/15/2013

Peter's has always honestly represented what work needed to be done, priced it fairly and come out within 5% of the estimated cost. They also say that they guarantee their work for 18 months - I've never had occasion to test this claim but that's the guarantee. more

I have had multiple problems with my Volvo, and Peter's Auto Works has been very honest about the best course of action for me to take. I really appreciate that they have been so honest with me. They are very knowledgeable about Volvos. They told me that it didn't make sense to continue tinkering with the car; it would be too expensive. They let me know that the best options would be to buy a new car or get the entire engine replaced. I did not get that honesty elsewhere, and it was expensive. I really trust them with my car. When they fix something, it works out well. I took my mom's car for a tuneup and to change the timing belt, and my mom does not own a Volvo. They are a great group of people who want to give good customer service. more
