From beginning to end, this company is top notch. Got an appointment the next day after calling for help with my clogged drain. They called 30 minutes in advance of their tech's arrival to let me know he was on his way. James L. was knowledgeable, helpful, and got the job done within minutes. Then he took a look at all the plumbing in my house and made very helpful recommendations. Thanks James and Peter Levi Plumbing. I'll definitely use these guys again! more

Drew is an exceptional and professional representative of Peter Levi Plumbing. Very personable and attentive to all aspects of my heating and air conditioning units. Pointed out the good, the bad and the ugly with solutions with upmost regard of my budget. From my initial telephone call to set up an appointment, (the warm reception I received) to the follow-up texts and phone calls surpassed expectations. My furnace & water heater are in an area that I can no longer reach, 10/10/2018

They are quick and reliable but seem to be overly expensive. 10/9/2018

I made an appt for a special $77 to snake my clogged kitchen drain. The Serviceman immediately said that wouldn't work and I should schedule a hydro-jet for $1300. I asked him to try the snake first. He did and it worked. However, I did believe the serviceman was probably right that I should get the hydro-jet soon. So I called one other highly recommended plumber and he did the work for $550 the next day. more

Excellent service! 9/23/2018

Arrived EARLY, love that, and was super thorough and helpful, generous as well. He fixed an annoying problem (soap dispenser leak) in a wink and blink and did not charge me. Fixed the reason I called them, a exterior hose bib leak in a timely manner and now all is well. I am very pleased. Thank you, Juliana more

Ridiculously expensive 9/23/2018

A very small job would have cost me $1026. I said no, and ended up doing it myself with a little help from Pini Hardware and a FaceTime with my brother in law. The actual work took less than 30 min. I was told the plumber COULD be here for half a day. Luckily, I knew that was not the case. And I am a woman he thought he could scam. more

Hourly Rate and Up-Charging 9/21/2018

Your technician was prompt, but advised that we had the wrong Moen faucet ( $65.00 Home Depot ) assembly for the kitchen sink. Instead of quoting me the same series with the correct spray hose mounting, which Home Depot had, he tried to up charge me for a faucet assembly 4 times the amount ( which was his low bid ), plus charging $ 400.00/Hr. to install. I feel this is a tactic to take advantage of people on the spot. I was charge a diagnostic fee which was just the 3 up-charged quotes that he emailed me, which I would request that you credit back. I called a well known competitor in Marin who came and installed the same Moen unit for a total of $ 185.00 total ( their hourly rate ). You should look at the quotes your technician emailed me ( the highest was $1400.00+. I hope you will consider doing the right thing and crediting back the so called diagnostic charge. more

Good but expensive 9/14/2018

My water heater was not staying lit and heating. I had replaced the thermocouple, but that didn't do it. Peter Levi replaced the thermostat to no avail. A slight adjustment of the thermister seemed to resolve the problem. Was the thermostat replacement necessary? That was very expensive and the bill did not itemize the part and labor. It was just a total price. Shawn was very competent and determined to resolve the problem, which apparently he did. more

Excellent professionals and quality work! 8/31/2018

I had a new HVAC system installed by Jonathan and the team. They did exceptional quality work. I would use no one else but Peter Levi Plumbing and have advise our HOA board that anyone in our building installing an HVAC system only work with Peter Levi. They are the best! more
