Fifst off, i purchased a electric schinn 400 scooter it broke after about a week then they fixed it then soon broke again so my dad fixed and he did a better job. somebody told me that you take off parts so it can break again more

I've never seen a good review. The only people that write things write bad things! I have never really had a good experience any where I've had to wait at. But not all stores are the same and I've never called auto zone without a half hour wait to find out if they have a part. But really some employees here really do their job. It's all about who you ttalk to. more

0 stars - horrible customer service!!! They sold us a dirt bike under contract that stated we could return the unused item within 7 days. Once we realized what poor quality the bike was (transmission was sticking, rear fender not attached to seat, and the handle bars were loose) we tried to return 3 hours later - the manager refused to speak to us and walked away!!! I am stopping the credit card now and they can take it up with them! more

No Stars For Pep Boys\r \r I took my overheating 2000 Mercury Mystique to Pep Boys on Sunday. After approximately 1.5 hours, I was told I needed a thermostat housing, a part available only at Ford dealers. I would be required to leave the car overnight. OK, seems reasonable. \r \r Monday morning, I called to check on the repair progress; was told I could pick up the car at 5:00 pm. and total cost would be $277.00 I arrive at 6:00pm, only to be told they had not yet started the repairs, and they had no one to work on my car. Seems the part didn't arrive until after I had been told the car would be ready at 5:00 pm. After speaking with the service manager, repairs started at approximately 6:30 pm. At 7:30 pm, I was told the part had been up graded, and the bolt patterns had been changed. I pointed out that perhaps the incorrect part had been ordered. \r \r Tuesday, I picked up my repaired car, paid a discounted price for my inconvenience, and went on my way to run errands. Sales person rude & not helpful 6/12/2008

The sales person from whom I asked for help to get an adapter kit for the air conditioning unit on my car was very rude. I asked for a test kit because I am not mechanically inclined and forgot the exact word for the kit I needed. I explained to her what the kit was supposed to do a couple of times and she totally acted like I was wasting her time. She finally took me back to the aisle the kits were in and handed me a "Kit for Dummies" without ever asking what kind of car I had. Now this kit is legitimate, but it was another sales person who asked me what kind of car I had so it could be put into the computer and checked. Pep boys can bet that Auto Zone will be helping me next time I need anything. At least I can say I have never walked into Auto Zone that they haven't been polite. more

They Put "Passenger Vehichle Only" Tires On My Truck , Would NOT Make Right 5/14/2008

Bought 2 tires from Pepboys and they were installed by Pepboys on my S10 Pick Up truck, several months later I went back for 2 more of the same tires for the rear of my truck and I was told "I can't put thiese tires on your truck, these are for Cars Only", I say, for Cars Only, they said that's correct, I saw well we have a problem then and you people need to give me 2 more tires of the Correct rating for my truck, the counter attendant says well since we've Already put 2 of these on your truck I can put 2 more on even though they are for Cars Only... I say, I'll talk to the manager, they say he's not here until the morning, I come back to the store the next day and talk to the manager, I'm told these are for Cars Only, I explain that they put the wrong tires on my truck and I would like to get it made right... Manager says they put these Cars Only tires on your truck? I say Yes, he say's what type of truck is it? I say a Chevy S10 2wd, the manager says Oh it's ok to put these tires on more

Blind leading the Blind, expensive, duplicate effort & time, very expensive 3/10/2008

If you enjoy wasting you time, paying outrageous prices, and watching the service team duplicate each others efforts, this place is for you! Hey, but Bob and Earl? are friendly, more than can be said for the manager on duty at the time.\r \r Heres my experience. Brought in car too have driver side windshield wiper repaired. After 4 hours of waiting, they determined they needed to order the part from the distributer. Ok, sort of, this was after having to fill out an invoice twice. Bob filled out the first invoice, when I dropped of the car, Earl said he could not find it, so he filled out a second invoice. Bobs was $111 Earls was $86 same items and repairs. I also decided to have oil change.\r \r Well, $44.95 dollars later for the oil change, they told me I had to bring the car back tomorrow. THey would have to order the part. My wife brought in the car, and of course, they didnt have the notes on what part they needed to order, so they were going to have to run it through diagnostics, orde more

this place is not near as good as auto zone.on prices,employees or anything else.pep boys charges way too much money to fix things and outrageous prices for labor when fixing oyu car. more
