I took my overheating 2000 Mercury Mystique to Pep Boys on Sunday. After approximately 1.5 hours, I was told I needed a thermostat housing, a part available only at Ford dealers. I would be required to leave the car overnight. OK, seems reasonable. \r

Monday morning, I called to check on the repair progress; was told I could pick up the car at 5:00 pm. and total cost would be $277.00 I arrive at 6:00pm, only to be told they had not yet started the repairs, and they had no one to work on my car. Seems the part didn't arrive until after I had been told the car would be ready at 5:00 pm. After speaking with the service manager, repairs started at approximately 6:30 pm. At 7:30 pm, I was told the part had been up graded, and the bolt patterns had been changed. I pointed out that perhaps the incorrect part had been ordered. \r

Tuesday, I picked up my repaired car, paid a discounted price for my inconvenience, and went on my way to run errands. Before I
