I have recommended this store to many of my friends and family. I have been going to Pearle for years now and there service has never let me down. more

When I went to Pearle Vision I needed to buy my first pair of glasses and was not sure where to start, so I aimlessly looked through the huge selection of glasses. When an employee asked me for help, I said yes, thinking he would just show me where all the different types of glasses were; but he did much more than that. He asked me what I was looking for and picked out specific glasses for me to try on. He showed me the different attributes such shape and material that would compliment my face. I am a very indecisive person, but this employee stayed with me for over 45 minutes helping me to make my final decision. Next, we sat down and he explained my choices for packages I could buy (such as lenses with anti-glare, anti-scratch, etc) and the costs. I was very frank about my budget and he helped me maximize my benefits. He even gave me a discount so I would stay under my budget! I came back the next day to pick up my glasses and had them adjusted and, very importantly, I was told precautions about beginning the usage of my glasses, such as driving, something I really had no idea about. This made me trust this store much more. I walked out very satisfied with the customer service. I back a month later because I needed to adjust my glasses and they did, free of charge. I went to Pearle Vision for an eye appointment, and while there asked to have my glasses tightened. The person who took them returned a few minutes later looking very nervous - and holding my glasses, which were broken in two pieces. They gave me a 'discount' on a new pair of glasses, which still ended up costing over $300. About a year later, after I had moved out of state, the bronze finish started peeling off of the glasses. When I called to have them replaced, they basically said I was out of luck because the warranty had expired a month ago. I argued until finally they agreed to replace them if I mailed the damaged ones in. However, once the order came in, they said I had to pay half the price of the glasses (they did NOT tell me this initially). Worse, they said half the price was $100, even though I had found the exact same glasses in the Pearle Vision store in the city where I am living now for $129.99. more
