Review content:
I went to Pearle Vision for an eye appointment, and while there asked to have my glasses tightened. The person who took them returned a few minutes later looking very nervous - and holding my glasses, which were broken in two pieces. They gave me a 'discount' on a new pair of glasses, which still ended up costing over $300. About a year later, after I had moved out of state, the bronze finish started peeling off of the glasses. When I called to have them replaced, they basically said I was out of luck because the warranty had expired a month ago. I argued until finally they agreed to replace them if I mailed the damaged ones in. However, once the order came in, they said I had to pay half the price of the glasses (they did NOT tell me this initially). Worse, they said half the price was $100, even though I had found the exact same glasses in the Pearle Vision store in the city where I am living now for $129.99.
