Peaden A/C Heating & Plumbing was GREAT!!! We purchased A new HVAC unit with them this year, the customer service was incredible every step of the way, from Vanessa who answers the phone, to Zach who came and met with us and gave us the break down and our options, we received a great price and Jeff and Thomas did a great install, everyone was always on time and the install went even quicker than expected! Definitely use them for all your needs, we talked to tons of companies in the area, and we decided to go with Peaden and we are SO GLAD we did!! Goodness, we've been with Peaden Air Conditioning & Heating for 20-25 years, maybe more. Everything has always been good. They are adequate, come out when they say they'll be out and on time. I would recommend them. Recently, we had them install a new unit. It went as well as it could go. Our unit had gone down, so within 24 hours they brought us a spare one to use in the meantime so we wouldn't be without air while the new one was on order. It was really nice of them to do that. The new until didn't arrive until 4 days later, they came out and switched the units. The install went beautifully. We have been very happy with Peaden Air, and would not use anyone else. more

This was my first experience with Peaden Air Conditioning & Heating. They put in a complete system in my townhouse in Panama Beach City. There were a few issues that happened during the install. They damaged my property, so repair work had to be done. It was an accident, and I guess accidents do happen. Maybe if they'd been a little more careful the accident might have been prevented. However, overall they did a good job and the unit works great and they followed-up to make sure everything was okay. Also, their prices are really reasonable too. And, I would use them again. We have been using Peaden Air Conditioning & Heating since we have lived here, about 20 years now. We have a yearly maintenance with them, where they come out and clean and check our units. They have always responded to our calls and are prompt in letting us know what we need. Recently, we had to purchase a new AC unit. I was very surprised at how fast the entire process was! more

I am not big on reviews but I am very impressed with the customer service and prompt install of a new outside unit that recently went out on us. My wife is 38 weeks pregnant and well she is miserable enough when the a/c is working, so for her to have to deal with it being 85 degrees in the house with windows up and fans on was a nightmare. I called Peaden and the ladies on the phone treated with kindness and concern when I explained our situation and they sent someone right over. He diagnosed the problem called and located the part and had it installed and running the next day. (would have been the same day but I had to wait for pay check). I can't express my gratitude enough and will refer them to everyone I know they have earned my business. And if you have to use them for you?re a/c needs I can assure you they will earn yours too. more

My father recently purchased a condo on Front Beach and while visiting the air conditioner died. I asked our property manager for a reference as we are not from PCB. She gave us the Peaden name. I went online and have to admit, I was a little concerned about a couple of the ratings but called them.\r The very polite technician arrived the same day and took a look at the TWENTY EIGHT year old air handler! He diagnosed the problem and gave us two options, replace the unit or replace the coil, carefully explaining everything. We opted to replace the unit. He pumped some freon in and gave us the night in cool air and said he would schedule an appt the very next day. \r As promised the appt was set and two young men (HUGE shout out to Rodney and Thomas!) arrived right on time and went to work. They covered the floor before they started and worked like trojans to complete the job. We've used Peaden for 7 years at our vacation rental homes in the area and had excellent service. HVAC equipment doesn't hold up well in the salt air and tends to go out at inconvenient times. We had been warned that one of our units was on its last legs and it went out on a Thursday evening with 16 guests in the rental home. Peaden came out and checked it and the compressor was blown. We were already planning to replace it, but not in the middle of rental season. Peaden quoted us a replacement cost and we scheduled the replacement for late August. In the meantime, they came out early the next morning with a 'loaner' condenser (outside) unit for the HVAC and had our guests cooling again by 11AM. We had a similar situation at a rental last year and the tech came by twice a week to keep the freon levels in the system charged until the replacement could be done. After having a new system installed, when i needed service after it quit working, i could not get anyone out for three days\r so i had to call another company to do the repair which i had to pay for there service or wait in extreme heat for warrenty repairs by peaden, so they dont have 24/7 service, but they do\r have 25/8 if anyone needs them, more

Peaden is one of the most well-known heating and cooling companies in Bay County. It depends on what you call them for as to how they do. General maintaince is fine. The techs are friendly and do a good job. We recently had them replace our entire system and the experience was not so good. The engineers complained about the salesman selling the wrong stuff. They complained that he never went through the entire house (to the attic) to see where the beam structures were. They hadd to redo where they were supposed to put the vents on the fly. It was a bit discouraging that it took a week and they left things kind of in a mess. They were friendly, and I will still use them for outdoor maintanance, however, whenever it is time to re-do the system again I will call someone else. more

Called Peaden out there and was told $69 to diagnose, but when they got out there they told me to diagnose the problem they would have to do a level1 short test which was $177, they said it was a bad capacitor, which was what I had told them from the begining, and a bad thermostat. They wanted to charge $500 just for a thermostat. A part you can buy at Wal-Mart for $25. When I told them I didn't want that, they refused to hook up my old Thermostat, and keep the breaker off so that I could hook my own up when I got home. They left a bunch of wires sticking out ow my wall. $360 Later and I still don't have a working AC.? more
