We've used Peaden for 7 years at our vacation rental homes in the area and had excellent service. HVAC equipment doesn't hold up well in the salt air and tends to go out at inconvenient times. We had been warned that one of our units was on its last legs and it went out on a Thursday evening with 16 guests in the rental home. Peaden came out and checked it and the compressor was blown. We were already planning to replace it, but not in the middle of rental season. Peaden quoted us a replacement cost and we scheduled the replacement for late August. In the meantime, they came out early the next morning with a 'loaner' condenser (outside) unit for the HVAC and had our guests cooling again by 11AM. We had a similar situation at a rental last year and the tech came by twice a week to keep the freon levels in the system charged until the replacement could be done.
