Pasco Window & Door

Made an appointment to get an estimate for two windows repaired and a door replaced. They sent out a salesman the first time who wanted to REPLACE my windows because they weren't compliant with a 2002 code. Interesting, because my home was built in 2005 and passed inspection then because I have hurricane shutters. He assured me that since he had been ""in the business for 35 years"" I had to replace the windows. I called the county to find out--they assured me that my home meets current code because of the shutters. So, WASTE of my time--which I had to take off from work because they wouldn't come out on a weekend. He suggested that I call and speak to Pete to get an estimate for repairs. Stupid me, I did. Made an appointment for a Wednesday afternoon about a week later. Took off work again. When they didn't show by 4:00 pm, I called the office--and spoke to Pete again. He claimed that he had NEVER MADE THE APPOINTMENT! He might not have written it down, but he sure as h*** made the appointment! For not having made the appointment, I found it very interesting that he had my information IMMEDIATELY on hand!! He knew my name and address before I even identified myself!!! Another day wasted and he didn't even apologize for screwing up!! NEVER AGAIN. I'll put plywood over all of my windows rather than ever call them again!!! RUDE, SCHEMING, CONDESCENDING, AND DISORGANIZED!! more

Never call this business ... \r Workers do not measure windows correctly\r Workers do not install correctly\r Owner does return calls and will review the poor install, etc and then tell the homeowner nothing is wrong\r This company has been in business for a long time, I feel only due to the fact that so many new homeowners move to Florida\r If this was the last window company in the world to replace old windows, I would live with plywood on my windows instead of working with Pasco Window and Door ... more

The customer called requesting an estimate, told us that he wanted to go online and check out the merchandise. He then called 2 weeks later and signed the Purchase Agreement for the doors and sidelights that was listed on the contract . As we started the installation of the doors, Mrs. Thomas demanded our installers to stop. The customer had plenty of time and told us he would research what he was getting (model number on estimate sheet was left with the customer). Installation of our hurricane windows is complete. Everything went well and as scheduled. Initially our salesman, Gary made sure that our 2 off sized windows could be accomodated. He had Stan & David check to be sure. The installers, Mark, Dimitri & Peter did a great job! They replaced 14 windows. Their work was amazing especially with the 2 off sized windows being surrounded by mirrors & tile. None of the mirrors or tile were damaged and the installation of all the windows was superb! We had no mess to clean up because the installers were meticulous. It was a pleasure to have them here. One of our neighbors observed installation of one of the windows when he was outside & was very impressed with the work Mark was doing. What we really liked was how the installers worked so well with each other regarding advice and checking each other. During part of the installation David & Stan stopped by and actually asked me how things were going, & if I was satisfied. When the work was completed Julie scheduled the inspection and Karen completed the paperwork for My Safe FLA Homes. We highly recommend Pasco Window & Door, Inc. Not only do they work as a team, they are truly professionals as well as very nice people. From the salesman, to the supervisor, installers and office staff they are very thorough. We have had many compliments on how great our windows look and plan to have them for door installation in the future. We had 3 estimates and know without a doubt that we chose the best! 2-21-07 Pasco W & D rep. David Mcpherson gave estimate $2984, plus $150 Permit, for 1 Fiberglass Door (686) & 2 Sidelights (694) chosen from a picture in his catalog. He was specifically told that we wanted a door with a privacy number of 8 or above. He did not leave a catalog, saying that he only had one copy but gave it to us to copy the picture of our chosen door, which we did. We were not shown a picture of the products McPherson entered on the agreement and were not given an opportunity to check his product numbers against the catalog. We used Pasco window and door to fix some windows from last year's hurricanes. They quoted us a fairly reasonable price - then came to put in the new ones. Only to find out the guy mis-measured and they didn't fit at all. Really frustrating and pretty poor service. We had to wait another wk for the new measurements and windows. I'd definately look around more next time or measure myself first to make sure! more

This is a good shop. Especially if you are remodeling or redecorating and need some new windows, doors or supplies this place is certainly worth checking out for what you are seeking. Other than the selection they also are available for repairing if needed. The prices are reasonable, especially for repair if you can't afford brand new items.
