Made an appointment to get an estimate for two windows repaired and a door replaced. They sent out a salesman the first time who wanted to REPLACE my windows because they weren't compliant with a 2002 code. Interesting, because my home was built in 2005 and passed inspection then because I have hurricane shutters. He assured me that since he had been ""in the business for 35 years"" I had to replace the windows. I called the county to find out--they assured me that my home meets current code because of the shutters. So, WASTE of my time--which I had to take off from work because they wouldn't come out on a weekend. He suggested that I call and speak to Pete to get an estimate for repairs. Stupid me, I did. Made an appointment for a Wednesday afternoon about a week later. Took off work again. When they didn't show by 4:00 pm, I called the office--and spoke to Pete again. He claimed that he had NEVER MADE THE APPOINTMENT! He might not have written it down, but he sure as h*** made the appointment! For not having made the appointment, I found it very interesting that he had my information IMMEDIATELY on hand!! He knew my name and address before I even identified myself!!! Another day wasted and he didn't even apologize for screwing up!! NEVER AGAIN. I'll put plywood over all of my windows rather than ever call them again!!! RUDE, SCHEMING, CONDESCENDING, AND DISORGANIZED!!
