Change of heart 11/6/2006

I am not originally from nyc and was so excited to find an optician that was not a chain but more like an old family doctor. The doctor was so thorough and informative. I got an eyeglass and contact exam but told the doctor that I would be ordering the contacts online. The doctor was so rude and nasty about this. I wanted to get my glasses there but after that experience I fealt black listed. He practically kicked me out of the store! And the lady at the front desk was a major looser and totally rude - she should be fired. Park West Vision has lost my business. It is just too bad! I was going to pay $800 for those glasses but will have to get them somewhere else. Park West - was it worth the $80 loss over internet contacts??? more

I got an eyeglass and contact exam but told the doctor that I would be ordering the contacts online. The doctor was so rude and nasty about this. What a difference a year makes 5/6/2006

Last year I had a great experience at Park West Vision. However, I was treated so poorly yesterday, that I am looking for a new eye doctor. The staff, including the doctor, were more like pushy salespeople than eyecare providers. I was reminded 3 times that I was only covered for an exam. Then, when I stated that I would be ordering my contacts from an internet site, the doctor made a sarcastic comment along the lines or "we're offering the same price, so I don't know why you're giving it to them." Then, when I went to the front counter to pay, another staff member was very rude and did not adequately explain why I had to pay money in addition to the copay on my insurance. So, my conslusion is that Park West Vision is friendly as can be, as long as you're spending tons of money there. more

I visit the eye doctor very regularly due to several unique eye problems I have. I received the best eye care from Dr Capetola that I've received in over 10 years. He had no problem addressing my unique issues. His equipment is the latest, and he's extraordinarily thorough. His prices are also very reasonable, and his optician is extremely skilled. Skilled, Trustworthy, and Professional 3/11/2006

optical needs 10/27/2005

Park West Vision is a great place to go for all of your vision needs. Whether you just need a vision exam or if you need to get new glasses or replacement contact lenses, Park West Vision is the place to go. They have a very nice doctor and the office staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are great and the selection is great too. They are opened Monday through Saturday. more

Good Service is hard to find these days 8/15/2005

When I shop for goods or services these days I am constantly reminded how bad the customer is treated. There are however exceptions to this. I was greeted very well when i went into Park West Vision. I waited a short time for the Dr. to see me and was very impressed with those who helped me pick out my new glasses. Sure beats the attitudes of the chains I have been to in the past plus there was very little difference in the price more
