Great joint!! We went last week (twice) and had a blast both times. Friendly, fun staff in a laid-back atmosphere. Yeah, a little on the red side, but what would you expect with...

Perhaps beer goggles might provide an alternative review, however after seeking out this ""trendy, new 24 hour diner""' on a Saturday afternoon I am afraid the place did not stac...

Smear Campaign 4/17/2007

There seems to be a smear capaign against this wonderful new restaurant in downtown Nashville. People who are writing these ugly reviews show that they have never been there or tasted the food. The burgers are great...24 hour diner which was needed in downtown Nashville, good music, low prices.. What more could someone want??\r \r My congrats to the owner who had the courage to open such a unique place. Great job!!! Pros: good food..great prices..good music more

Great new venue..good music..great food 4/17/2007

If one wants to REALLY read the reviews, it seems that there is a slanderous attack on Paradise Park by Cadilac Ranch. Obviously, the people that they have solicited to write their phoney reviews have never been to Paradise park. They put shame to this process. People should boycot Cadilac Ranch and read right through these reviews.\r \r Paradise Park is a new venue for downtown Nashville. The music, the bar, the food, and most of all, the fun atmosphere is exactly what Nashville needed. The 24 hour diner serves great food at very reasonable prices. From the burgers to the eggs, ther good is great!!!\r \r In order to get a real review, go there and experience a fun place. You will want to go back again and again. Pros: Great atmosphere..lots of fun..good music and food more

PARADISE - LOST 4/17/2007

My friends and I are all in the service industry downtown, and we have been laughing hysterically about the reviews of Paradise Park. First of all, the bad ones are probably, for the most part, true, and the good ones are obviously made up. We had burgers and Beer there last week, and it was no better than average. It wasn't the worst food we ever had, but it was by no means ""Amazing."" They must have a PR spin doctor writing glowing reviews. Whoever it is has also been trashing Cadillac Ranch hard. In truth, both are equally predictable Broadway tourist traps that have their moments. Everyone on Broadway knows Paradise Park has been writing their own reviews (the first 5 have the word ""amazing"" in it. Most of the others, always have a name like ""nashfoodcritic"", ?Nashville native?, or ?Foodguru? etc?). I heard people at the Beer Seller laughing about it this past Sunday night. Seriously, most of these ?reviewers? would have you believe they all live and work downtown, but all are oddly concerned about ?parking? (Something no downtown resident cares or thinks about). In almost every case, the person reviewing has only reviewed one place, but strangely enough, these ?downtown residents? spend enough time on Citysearch to monitor the negative reviews of Paradise Park, and they all are compelled to ?set the record straight? or give their ?two cents? about it. My advice is focus on your own food, and quite writing these silly transparent reviews of your own place. You can?t fool or please everyone. If you ever do have good food, there might be those that will take the time to compliment you. However, everyone knows that in this business, most satisfied people don?t go home and jump on the computer to write a ?good? review. Pros: 24 hours Cons: Inferiority complex more

Great place, strange reviews... 4/17/2007

I'll admit that I'm a regular at Paradise Park. I live and work downtown, so my partner's and I eat lunch there about twice a week. I tend to end my night's there fairly often, mostly because the bar stays full until close, and because afterward, I can go next door and eat at 3am. The food has always been top notch, and the open kicthen lets you watch the cooks prepare your food, and it's proof that the food is fresh, not frozen. (unlike other establishments in the area). Don't get me wrong, I frequent other restaurants and bars downtown as well, but this place has a great atmosphere and some great live music that keeps me coming back. The thing that annoys me, are the other reviews on here (most seem to be a fairly transparent attempt by a near-by competitor to annonymously slander a better bar). And, as someone who frequents Paradise Park, I feel the need to share my experience and observations, so that toursits and locals alike aren't swayed by the half-hearted attempts to bad mouth a great place. Some odd things stand out about certain reviews...first, Paradise Park doesn't have servers. At all. All food is ordered and picked up by the customer. Secondly, You can't get breakfast and dinner at the same time (believe me, I've tried). So, how did someone eat eggs (which aren't sold a la carte) while someone else ate a corn dog? Lastly, the drink prices are comperable to EVERY place downtown. It costs me $3.50 for a Miller Light Bottle, $8 for a Jagerbomb. Pretty standard. Plus, my buddies and I can get a $6 pitcher every day of the week. The staff and management have always been pleasant and accomidating and the ""ambiguous"" decor is nealty fashioned and creatively designed...I'm not sure how an '82 Camaro and Astroturf give an ""ambiguous"" feeling, but I digress...Don't get me wrong, there are things they need to tweak and get better at, but of the two new bars that opened recently on Broadway, Paradise Park is by far the superior. Pros: Great food, solid prices, great staff, wonderful ambience Cons: Parking, very crowded on the weekends more

Boring 4/17/2007

Went there with some friends after dancing the night away in Nashville, and tried their food. My corn dog was cold, but it was okay. My friends said the Ranch tasted like sour cream. Eggs were nasty. We didn'r eat much. Place was totally lame. Met someone who worked there, who convinced me to go. Sorry! The place was lame, and the guys were ugly. Pros: Close to Cadillac Ranch! Cons: ugly guys more

It's Fun 4/17/2007

I went to Paradise Park this past weekend with a group of people and had a great time. The food was good, the music was great and the crowd seemed to be having a blast. I will be back!! Pros: Good Food, Great Music, Great Crowd more

Paradise--it's not 4/16/2007

I love campy places. There were great places where we moved from that were ""camp."" When our party came in, we were treated like we were old folks hanging out at a hip, 20 something place that was important. Our server actually rolled her eyes at us. Never again. Pros: I can't think of any Cons: Bad. Just bad. more

AMAZINGLY BEST EVER TREND SETTER PLACE AND STUFF! 4/16/2007

FOOD IS BEST EVER ANYWHERE. DRINKS ARE CHEAPER AND BETTER THAN EVERYWHERE EVER. IT?S AMAZING. OWNER IS CUTER THAN ANYONE EVERYWHERE. PARADISE PARK IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT RESTAURANT OF OUR TIME. IT?S AMAZING. AS CHIC AS ANY NEW YORK TREND SETTING BAR LIKE ?BUBBY?S.? EXPECT TO SEE DENIRO, HARVERY KEITEL, AND THE KENNEDY?S.EATING CORN DOGS. NASHVILLE IS NOW A BETTER PLACE IT?S AMAZING. NO PARKING. SERVICE IS NOT GOOD, BUT THAT?S TO BE EXPECTED. IT?S AMAZING. WE ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN CADILLAC RANCH. I SAT IN A CAR. I WENT AT LUNCH AFTER THE PREDS WON, IT WAS THE GREATEST BURGER THAT HAS EVER BEEN CREATED SINCE WRITTEN HISTORY. THE FLOWER TOLIETS ARE THE BEST IDEA EVER FOR DECORATING. IT?S AMAZING. IT?S A DREAM COME TRUE. I DON?T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE DON?T THINK IT?S THE GREATEST PLACE IN ALL THE LAND. THE TATER TOTS ARE CRISPY AND AMAZING. PARADISE PARK YEAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: IT'S THE COOLEST BEST EVER EVERYTHING!! Cons: WHY DON'T PEOPLE KNOW ITS THE BEST PLACE EVER FOR EVERYTHING EVER more

How Weird! 4/16/2007

Went to leave a review, and saw everyone beat me to it, including someone in my group. Wow, the place seems to be doing damage control as well. Weird. Anyway, don't want to pile on. Everybody was real nice there; we just thought they needed to here some constructive criticism, which we told our server as well. They, however, would probably impress people more by improving their establishment, then with paranoid ramblings, name calling other bars, and padding their reviews with friends and staff. You could still be from a trailer Park AND have class Pros: Nice Staff Cons: overzealous internet champain more

Best Place on Broadway 4/16/2007

Whoever is posting these negative reviews of Paradise Park is up to something. If you want high-class food, go elsewhere. If you want a burger that you will crave again weeks later, go to Paradise Park. I've lived in Nashville my whole life and think this is one of the best burgers I've ever had in this town. Paradise Park is meant to be a place where you kick back and have a good time, which is exactly the atmosphere provided on both the bar and restaurant side. The $6 pitchers ARE cold, the music IS good, and the food IS fantastic. If you're offended by the theme, then you have no sense of humor. I make less than 50K and think it's great. Whoever said Cadillac Ranch is better---Cadillac Ranch is the cheesiest place on Broadway--unless you like ugly murals and poor service. If we want corporate businesses with no sense of this city to fill up our downtown, then support Cadillac Ranch. Personally, I think Nashville deserves more than that. Paradise Park is exactly what Nashville has been missing. If you are visiting Nashville, go to Paradise Park. If you live here, go to Paradise Park. You won't regret it. Pros: great food, beer selection, service Cons: parking (it's downtown, no parking is good) more

Below Average 4/16/2007

A group of our Friends came in for the Weekend and Visited Paradise Park. Service was okay. The Food was pretty cheap although quality was lacking. The burgers were okay, but nothing special. The Sweet potato fries were cold, and the the small $6 pitchers were warm. They are kind of new (I think a few months) but I don't think they are trying very hard. They will have to step it up to last next to the likes of Cadillac Ranch down the street, another new place. They, however, seem comfortable resting at a primo location. Pros: Location Cons: Cold Food, Warm Beer more

LOVE IT 4/16/2007

I have just read some of the other comments on here about Paradise Park and feel compelled to write one myself. I live, work and party downtown and must say that I LOVE THIS PLACE. I am not sure what the other people are talking about claiming the food is expensive, everything on the menu is less than $10 with fries and a drink. That is just as cheap as anywhere else on Broadway. I also love the bar...you can get a $6 pitcher of beer any day of the week and the drinks are the same price as anywhere else I have been. I am really not sure where some of these comments are coming from. Just wanted to give my 2 cents. Pros: great bar, great food, great crowd Cons: parking more

Pretty Bad 4/14/2007

Me and my Buddies decided to give the ""trailer Park"" themed whatever it is (we were startled by the ambiguity of the place) a try this weekend. Where do I start? First of all, the decor is almost insulting to anyone who makes below $50,000 a year. And, Honestly I think they are winging it. They just don't seem ready to be open. Our server told us they spent like 7 million dollars to open, and rushed to open because of some concert or something. Nobody seems to know what's going on. Our order was wrong twice. The server was very nice, but seemed frustrated by whatever mishaps were going on in kitchen. My eggs tasted like rubber, and were ice cold. The Management was flustered and comical. It was like a Benny Hill sketch. The owners should burn it down and start over. Pros: Nice Staff Cons: Food, Uncomfortable Vibe. Tasteless atmosphere more

Big Disappointment 4/14/2007

Went there after the Preds big win, and we were seated in a reasonable amount of time. That's where the good news ends. Half our Food was cold. Burger was WAY overcooked (at least IT was hot), and server told us it would take the kitchen forever to make another because the cooks were ""kind of slow."" What? We ate it because we were starving, but would never go back. We were shocked at drink prices as well. I wish we would have read some of these reviews before going. Pros: pretty quick seating Cons: Cold Food, Expensive drinks more

Good Times 4/14/2007

Had a great time last night. Bar was rockin' Also, I sat in the Camaro up front. Too much fun. I'll be back. We stopped in after watching the Preds destroy San Jose. Great place to do some post-celebration. more

My Favorite New Haunt 4/14/2007

What a fun experience in Nashville! I had heard about the new Paradise Park from friends, so as soon as I landed in the Ville, I headed to the Trailer Resort. The bar was rocking, the music was great (a little loud, but it is live, right?) and the food was sensational. When I commit to a burger and sweet potato fries, it best be perfect...and it was!\r Thank you for creating such a fantastic new spot in town, although it looks as though it's been there forever.\r I give it a 10. Pros: Extremely low prices for the food Cons: Parking, but then, it is downtown more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! AWEFUL FOOD, VERY EXPENSIVE DRINKS!!!!!!!!! 4/13/2007

I don't normally write on these websites, but since we went here because of the reviews on ""citysearch"" I thought I should save any Innocent people from being fooled, and wasting their money. Maybe I'm Wrong, but the fact that most of the reviews talked about how ""cute"" The owner is, and how ""my brother is the kitchen manger, and he gives me free food"" should have tipped me off that the owners and staff or whatever are writing them. It also makes me wonder how the ""Cute"" owner feels about the Kitchen manager giving away ""free food."" Anyway, this place reminded me of going to some movie and paying twice as much for drinks, and getting cruddy food you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. The problem for them? there is no movie, and there are better restaurants with better prices. We went to Demos' the next night, and even though the food wasn't Great, at least it was priced appropriately. We were kind of short on cash after the Paradise Park debacle. Next time we will read between the lines. Pros: No Wait Cons: Bad Food, Expensive Drinks, Looking at toilets while eating more

Great Food 4/11/2007

I ate here on a busy thursday for lunch and I thought the food was great. The restaurant and bar is brand new so some service issues are to be expected but overall my experience was wonderful. The food is fresh and not frozen and the staff was very helpful whenever I had a question or needed a drink. I will be back without a doubt. Pros: Cheap Food for Downtown, good music Cons: parking more

The Most Expensive, Touristy, Crapola Hole in Nashville 4/11/2007

What a Joke. The prior reviews were obviously written by the staff. Don?t believe a word of it. This place is about as trend setting as ? well, as their Trailer Park Menu. The Food was horrible, Service was a Joke, and my plastic chair was broken and disgusting. My ""Burger"" tasted like my High School Cafeteria?s soy patty. And, to Top it off, the drinks were unbelievably expensive!! Pretty insulting. They should cut their prices in half, and start taking food stamps. Run away. Pros: I didn't die Cons: No Ambience, Bad Service, Unbelievably Expensive Drinks, Horrible Food, etc..etc... more

Best in Breed 3/26/2007

New York hotties and diner maniacs beware -- this trend smasher upgrades the Tribeca and Pax American diner chic trend with ultra upgrades of ""haute"" American fare. Paradise Park also takes the former American dream -- comfort food at any hour -- and gives it what was lacking for the hot 20 something+ trendies who insist on gourmet food and fun decor along with their creature comforts. For me, Paradise Park is a dream come true -- a place to go, a stand-by, such as New York Tribeca's Bubby's -- still the afterhours favorite of neighbors Harvey Keitel, Robert De Niro and once the private lovenest of JFK jr. and his beautiful Caroline Bessette. Nashville has truly rounded the corner with settings, flare and food that would please the most cosmopolitan elite and finally allow us all a place to let our hair down. The burgers are awesome, juicy, rich and satisfying. But signature dishes are served with flare and delicious sides, even dainty salads for the less peckish. Eat and retreat in style -- and the bar menu deserves equal attention not just for full battery of beers, microbreweries and classics, but for the mixers delivered with TLC with an olive on top for those of us who need thicker fog cutters after hours. more
