First time purchase but not our last 12/7/2009

After many unsatisfactory purchases and disappointed meals of grilled NY Strip and Rib-eye, steaks I traveled to Palmer's this past Saturday. I purchased a 20 lb Rib-eye Loin. Saturday evening we grilled two of the steaks. They melted in or mouths and the flavor was like I remember beef used to taste from the grill. Yesterday we baked a roast cut from the same loin and when my wife started to insert the thermometer, she found it very easy to insert it into it.The meat is that tender. Best meat and seafood....hands down 7/28/2009

Wegmans is fine, but the wonderful folks at Palmer's actually know what they are talking about. My guy, Fred, cut my steaks for me right there....just the way I needed them. And my guests raved. The monkfish and striped bass were fresher and cheaper than Wegman's, too. As an avowed foodie, the entree makes the meal....and these guys know how to make it special and help you do the same. more
