Paco's

I had the pleasure of going to Paco's for the first time last night and I have to tell everyone about it! The place looks like an authentic Mexican restaurant and the food is the most authentic Mexican food I have eaten since I was in Mexico. The salsa that they serve with chips when you come in has nice big chunks of tomatoes and onions, not pureed. Come hungry or prepare yourself to carry out what you couldn't eat. more

Apeware, PLEASE don't come back. I'm one of those ""regulars"" that love the place and the food. The staff recognizes me and always go out of their way to make me comfortable - both the food and experience are a joy. Chipotle???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? more

I went to Paco's based on a waiter's, from another restaurant, recommendation as well as the glowing reviews on this site. I have been going to Pacos for nearly twenty years. I've tried all the chains and every other ma and pa tex-mex in Orlando, but I keep coming back to Pacos. You can't improve on perfection. Their food is the best. Everything you order at Pacos is always consistent. The chile rellenos are most definitely the best I've ever had in Orlando, Arizona, or California! The staff have all been there forever, so it must be a great place to work too. Gosh, talking about pacos has made me hungry! I'm going to Pacos!!!!!!! As an 18 year employee@ this great establishment , i have to agree with all of the reviews i have read. But I am writing to thank all of loyal customers , because without them as you all know , there would not be a PACOS. So come on in anytime (except for Sunday), and check out what everyone is still talking about after 26 years. Pacos is the place to be for GOOD tex-mex food .We have been going there since they opened (about 26 years) I have seen lines waiting in the rain to get in . My favorites are the delicious cheesy burritos, the taco salad (tacos too) and the rellenos are melt in your mouth good .I love the shredded lettuce and small diced tomatoes with mild sauce as a side salad . then theres the Flan for dessert YUM-YUM more

I have been going to Paco's since 1989 and I absolutely love the food. My favorite is the ""build your own"" nachos, however the guacamole and cheese dip shouldn't be missed. The great thing about their nachos is that each chip has the exact same amount of toppings as the others. In most restaurants you just get a sloppy mess where one chip will have a pound of toppings on it , the next one will have none and the next one will be soggy. There is often a wait to be seated, but the service is fast and the food is always piping hot. I now live out of state, but everytime I'm in the Orlando area I make a point to go to Paco's. I've been eating at Paco's since it opened. Being originally from Texas, I'm not too thrilled with a lot of the Cal-Mex and ""authentic"" Mexican restaurants in Orlando. Paco's has been serving consistently great Tex-Mex for more than 25 years. The restaurant is small and can be hard to get into at peak hours but it is worth the wait. I often find the waiting area full of people willing to wait 30 minutes or more for a table. Salsa comes in three temperatures, all of them home-made and full-flavored. Burritos are served with cheese melted over them and chile rellenos are baked instead of fried (delicious!). The guacamole is the best I've had anywhere.
