I've been eating at Paco's since it opened. Being originally from Texas, I'm not too thrilled with a lot of the Cal-Mex and ""authentic"" Mexican restaurants in Orlando. Paco's has been serving consistently great Tex-Mex for more than 25 years. The restaurant is small and can be hard to get into at peak hours but it is worth the wait. I often find the waiting area full of people willing to wait 30 minutes or more for a table. Salsa comes in three temperatures, all of them home-made and full-flavored. Burritos are served with cheese melted over them and chile rellenos are baked instead of fried (delicious!). The guacamole is the best I've had anywhere. Most of the staff has been there for years, some since the place opened. Great place! Pros: Great food and service Cons: Small and sometimes hard to get in.
