The building has problems, but we liked the location and tried to make it our home. Nice common area, but units are common inside and no W/D.

The worst rental experience I have ever had. Thieves, cons and crooks. Totally not interested in the respect and well being of the tenants. Tenants are just a walking source of income to them. They will not respect your property and they show no consideration for you once you sign the very long rental contract. You are in for very expensive bad lesson. Experience is the best teacher but sometimes the fees are too high. Take your money where you will be respected and appreciated as a client. They make the cheapest repairs and disrespect your property,time and space in making repairs. Every week there is another notice on the door requesting your assistance in helping with repairs,i.e. water turned off. get inside your apartment. Then they may go off and leave you door open. Love My Place 4/12/2010

I rented from PAC and I really love my apartment. The leasing team was great to work with. They were very friendly. I see the maintenance workers every once and a while around my building and they are really friendly. I enjoy my little community. The managers do a fantastic job of keeping things clean & orderly. I quite honestly don't have anything to complain about. Just be a considerate tenant pay your rent on time and everything will be great! Pros: Beautiful Apartment more

WORST APARTMENT COMPANY EVER. 2/15/2010

This company is the worst company in the history of apartments. They don't care about their tennants one bit. Also, who has ever heard of a company who won't provide a rent receipt to their tennants? Oh wait, you have to request a receipt EVERY SINGLE MONTH...Not to mention the rent doesn't go directly to the company when it's being mailed off...it actually goes to ANOTHER mail company who then mails off the rent. As the account manager noted, ""We have thousands and thousands of tennants."" Note to those with this horrible company...Your rent could and will eventually be ""lost in the mail"" so make sure ur prepared for all the extra charges since the company doesn't take personal checks which is also extremely shady. 95 percent of tennants all over the world pay their rent with a personal check. If you are searching for an apt, be sure and speed by the red sign in front of the complex that says PAC properties! If not, you are doomed! It has happened to my client and now he is dealing with the aftermath and stuck there for the remainder of his lease now. This place is horrible! The owner doesn't even have the respect to speak to his tennants directly; instead, he/she has his minions do the dirty work for him. Pros: Nice Apartment. Cons: where do i start? more

The staff at PAC is very helpful and kind. I'm a designer and have been most impressed with the company?s high standards in regards to fixing up their units. The individual units are upgraded with attractive fixtures and quality paint and flooring. Before I moved in, my unit was remolded and new flooring was installed. My unit looks great. Recently we had a maintenance request and they responded immediately and solved the problem. We are very satisfied with our experience here! more

Highly Recommended 2/2/2010

My wife and I recently moved into a P.A.C. apartment and are very happy with this company. It was likely the smoothest moving process I have ever had. The leasing staff was kind, professional and knowledgeable about their large selection of buildings. Our interaction with maintenance has also been great. Maintenance responded the next day to take care of our minor request and fixed the problem the first time out. I would rent from them again. The Good, The Bad, and then PAC 1/28/2010

I have to say that the leasing department is full of incredibly nice and kind people. You will leave them feeling a skip in your step. But they are not the ones you deal with while living with PAC. You first deal with maintenance, where although incompetent and unlicensed, are genuinely good people (wait til they send their plumbing guy to fix your electricity . . . ""I don't know what to do."" smiles) The repair will be done incorrectly so that you have to paint the wall correctly, replace panels, or finish their grout seal. Above that I had multiple MAJOR issues that left my apartment unlivable for weeks at a time, fire hazards, etc. The ownership could care less and will harass you in your home for requesting a repair. This company left me feeling violated, and I don't use that term lightly. They are holding my home and thousands of dollars in a security deposit over my head and harassing me because I want a livable home ""If you don't like what we are doing then leave"" (this is months into a repair being requested. why should I have to pay to move)? Everyone in the apartment complex loves the apartment, but hates the management. AVOID this business at all costs. Don't fall for the pretty face they put on. I was never late on rent so I cant comment on that, but I can say for sure THEY OWN A LOT OF PROPERTIES AND IT IS ABOUT MONEY NOT HOMES OR PEOPLE. Beware PAC Properties. In the past year they raised my rent by $100 a month and added an ""AUM"" charge which is about $60 a month (supposed to cover water and trash disposal, but it essentially amounts to a further rent increase since no one was paying it before). So Far So Good 12/18/2009

After the nightmare-ish leasing company that I dealt with in my last apartment, PAC properties is a breath of fresh air. The apartment itself is great (although they seem to repaint for every tenant using paint that you can't scrub stains off of without ripping the paint off the wall). We have had few maintenance issues, but they always respond very promptly. The leasing office employees are very friendly and helpful. A major plus is that they allow pets with no monthly pet rent! We have been here six months and so far so good! UPDATE Signed on for another year for our apartment with PAC. Have not had the accounting issues that some reviewers speak of (and we always pay our rent with a personal check, except for our first month). What is good is that the leasing and accounting is separate, unlike our last apartment where the leasing agents also managed tenant accounts and had no idea what they were doing. I have been totally satisfied with our experience with PAC but maybe that is because we rented in a good building...... more

Best Apartment Company Ever 12/8/2009

I was in the PAC Properties leasing office yesterday and was blown away with how kind their employees are. They are very helpful and not pushy at all. Not only their leasing team but their maintenance team as well. I like this company. I really like what their apartments look like. They paint the walls tan which makes them feel very homey and they have really modern elegant light fixtures. Pros: I would certainly recommend them to friends! more

The maintenance department responds quickly, the staff is friendly, and PAC Properties had about 10 apartment buildings we considered before choosing ours. The leasing department is the greatest that I have ever delt with. Frazier & Sam helped me find a place to live that was very reasonable and accessable to my apartment. They took the time with me like no other apartment management company has and helped my transition from Texas run smoothly. I highly recommend PAC Properties to any of my friends. I lived in a pac run building for many years...they are not a very good rental company because they don't hold thenmself to the same high standard they hold their tenants to. Their customer service reps are not friendly and mostly just don't care about satisfying the customer. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM 1/7/2009

One of the WORST management companies to rent from. Management is always RUDE and unhelpful plus very stingy. Do not want to fix anything until the last minute. The apartment I rent from smells like dog urine, carpets have not been changed since the 1970's plus look soiled, and almost all the apartments have some kind of plumbing problems. Manages a lot of properties. PAC, especially it's top manager, can be very difficult to work with. When I used to live there, maintenance requests took forever.
