After the nightmare-ish leasing company that I dealt with in my last apartment, PAC properties is a breath of fresh air. The apartment itself is great (although they seem to repaint for every tenant using paint that you can't scrub stains off of without ripping the paint off the wall). We have had few maintenance issues, but they always respond very promptly. The leasing office employees are very friendly and helpful. A major plus is that they allow pets with no monthly pet rent! We have been here six months and so far so good!
UPDATE
Signed on for another year for our apartment with PAC. Have not had the accounting issues that some reviewers speak of (and we always pay our rent with a personal check, except for our first month). What is good is that the leasing and accounting is separate, unlike our last apartment where the leasing agents also managed tenant accounts and had no idea what they were doing. I have been totally satisfied with our experience with PAC but maybe that is because we rented in a good building......
