I have lived in Overlook since 1981; I have never seen this place looked so nasty & dirty as it does today. The manger Dennis does not care what this place looks like he should be let go as manager. The board does nothing to clean this nasty place up. more

I was raised in Overlook. That place holds many many memories for me 12/8/2011

I am rating based on my opinions back during the time I grew up there. I have so many fond memories and feel a connection to those who I grew up around in Overlook eventhough we might not have been friends. Back during the 70,80,90's it wasn't too bad. Of course there was always fights over something, weather it was parking or kids just arguing. BUT nothing like today, Overlook has really gone down hiAnd gosh tghe drugs has gotten so bad. That place is my home in my memories and always will be. I drive through there from time to time and just reminese and sometimes i cry. SO many wonderful neighbers i grew up with who have died. Life is so short But I cherish them all. more

Not a bad place to live 6/14/2011

I grew up in Overlook as a child. Back in the 80s there were activities for thei kids at the ball park. It's not a bad place to live if you get the right people in there. Some of the people in there make it look like trash and those are the people who should have to go. I live there now and have raised one of my kids there and I have never heard of any drug problem. There is a problem with the parking. I think the parents need to keep their kids in check and not let them run wild in the streets. They need to do something with the ball park so that the kids will have somewhere to go and some kind of activities for them. The deposit might be a bit high but where else you gonna go for the price of the rent? more

Terrible Place To Live 5/10/2011

They require a large deposit to get in. They do not tell you there is a lot of drugs. There is no parking places. The manager can do nothing to in force the rules. They are very close to radio roads one of the worst crime areas. The riverside police do nothing to get rid of the drugs. Do not waste your money. Its the worse place to live. more

Fond Memories 5/12/2010

I'm a 'child' of Overlook Homes, living here from 1946-1956, when the property converted to private ownership (from being a Dayton Metropolitan Housing project). We originally lived at 5 Wainwright Dr. till 1951, when we moved to a larger unit at 54 Wainwright Dr. I have many fond memories of the 'hood - everyone in Overlook was 'family' - no matter what you did or how much you made - many mnight be surprised to learn that many of WPAFB's highest-ranking and well-paid civilians lived here because of the housing shortage just after WWII. After seeing this site, I was wondering if Dennis Clawson is a relation to the Clawsons who lived on Nimitz Dr., just behind the school - I remember a Phillip Clawson from my time there. Hope Overlook continues its successful run! R P Jonnes more
