Review content:
I'm a 'child' of Overlook Homes, living here from 1946-1956, when the property converted to private ownership (from being a Dayton Metropolitan Housing project). We originally lived at 5 Wainwright Dr. till 1951, when we moved to a larger unit at 54 Wainwright Dr. I have many fond memories of the 'hood - everyone in Overlook was 'family' - no matter what you did or how much you made - many mnight be surprised to learn that many of WPAFB's highest-ranking and well-paid civilians lived here because of the housing shortage just after WWII. After seeing this site, I was wondering if Dennis Clawson is a relation to the Clawsons who lived on Nimitz Dr., just behind the school - I remember a Phillip Clawson from my time there. Hope Overlook continues its successful run! R P Jonnes
