Bartender Greg was super friendly. We came in 2 nights ago & came back for lunch & the game. There was not much that would've made this meal better. Everything was wonderful. more

Teresa took excellent care of us even with our special requests (such as brown sugar bacon on my cheeseburger and substituting green beans for the french fries) more

Loved everything!!! We had chicken and half rack of baby back ribs. Ribs perfectly cooked & flavorful. The only thing I didn't like was that I ate too much and got full. Allison was my server. Thank you!!! more

We were coming back from Hood and wanted some fast comfort food. Saw the Roadhouse on Burnside in Gresham and it was packed on a Monday night at 8:00p.m., so figured it was worth a try! It's an eclectic place with neon bar signs, peanuts on the floors and rockin' music playing in the background! The prices are very reasonable and you get lots of food for your buck... we all had large take-home boxes. We ordered the ribs, which come with warm bread and your choice of many sides. We picked the salad (nice & crisp) and baked potato... everything was perfectly prepared, tasty and hot! The ribs were juicy, meaty and had just the right amount of sauce. The service was great too! Now we know why they were so busy... great food, service, surroundings at a good price! Would be really hard to beat this place! Definitely worth a trip out to Gresham! more

I have no food complaints so far. I really enjoy their wings and salmon rolls. Delicious. My only negative comment: Understaffed. more

My husband and I have eaten at Roadhouse in Gresham for 15+ years and think it is absolutely the best place in town. The salads used to be better, but they are still good and the quality can't be beat. I thought that I would direct my energies into thanking you for always providing such a great steak dinner- every time. We live in the St John's area so drive for 45+ minutes to get to your restaurant. It is always well worth the trip. (In fact, we plan to be there this Sunday!) more

This is the best place to eat in all of Gresham. We come about once a month and order your steak and ribs. Your sweet potato rolls can't be beat anywhere. The manager and staff gave us special attention on our Anniversary. There is no doubt in my mind that the roadhouse in Gresham is the best there is for food. more

Has a lot of potential 4/28/2011

When one first walks in there is a great road house type feel but then it all goes downhill. No music in the bar, thankfully the kitchen staff were listening to a radio so there was some kine of back ground noise. The food is sugary and honey flavored. If you like your bread or chicken wings to taste like sugar or honey you might like it. I don't .The place just needs some life. music, sports, something and a menu upgrade for adult pallets. Tthe mason jars and craft beer on tap is a winner but the rest pretty much sucks. more

Bring Chef Ramsay. Someone is getting fired! 10/9/2010

I bet a change in management is responsible for the degrading Orginial Roadhouse Grill (was it called Roadhouse grill only before?) The food was ok but not as good as it used to be. Once upon a time, this place was always packed and meat was guaranteed fresh and delicious. I believe they can t even get the rolls right anymore! Is anyone listening? Do something! This place is now living off its old reputation! I hope someone can take note and do something about this! Bring back the roadhouse grill! it used to be my favorite place! more

One Star at the Roadhouse 7/6/2010

OK, I've been here several times in the past but this time I was disappointed to the point I need to tell you my story. This does not have to do with the food as much as how to fix a customer's meal that did not get the attention it should have when it left the kitchen. Pros: Peanuts and bread .. oh my! Cons: Bad service and food and here's why more

Agree with others TERRIBLE! 2/12/2010

I agree with what others are saying I wanted to go somewhere good one night and remembered how we used to love the roadhouse and there rolls were yummy but when we dined here about a year ago I was more than disappointed. Our service was awful and the food mediocre The rolls were still good but it was hard to have our server come by to ask for more and when she did it seemed like it was a real bother to her. I wrote to the compnay to complain and all they did was call me back to get more info. Really? I spen nearly $100 on a dinner for 3 and was very unsatisfied and all they wanted was to take up more of my time and talk? Really? Surprised this place is still open. Pros: rolls Cons: everything more

Not what it used to be 2/11/2010

This place used to be the best! Now because of the management change a year or so back it sucks! Pros: never full Cons: food, service, prices, drinks more

Gone down 1/24/2010

I used to frequent this restaurant. Over the last couple years the quality of food and service has diminished. My final visit was more than a week ago. We were seated after waiting 15 minutes in a dining room which was less than half full. We then waited another 10 minutes to receive water. The ""famous"" rolls came as thick as pancakes. The ""Bourbon Wings"" had half the sauce they normally receive and were not hot. During the late 90?s and early 00?s you could not walk into Roadhouse without being greeted by the management team and smiles. I haven?t seen a manager at this location in a long time. I haven't received good service or food in several visits. I cannot return. What happened? Pros: Was once a great place Cons: Managment more

Service was poor & Prime Rib was awful. 3/16/2009

We went to this location for a birthday in the beginning of March '09. I would have walked out if it had not been the birthday person's wish to eat there. We ordered prime rib and it was like eating a block of salt. I love prime rib, but only get it on special occasions. The poor taste of the food certainly tainted the special occasion. Cons: Service and food more

The rolls are to die for!!! 4/25/2008

Great service there was a ballon shaper guy there for my child and everyone was very friendly. It felt like i went to a good old country bar where it didn't matter if you had great manners you were still given great service! and because it was a little nosie my child who is 18mo was not a problem there at all!! Pros: Great rolls Cons: on busy nights it can be a long wait more

Great steak, NOT at all kid friendly... 1/2/2008

Well when it comes to steak I don't think you could get much better... As for service, you would have better luck with Mcdonalds... I am a single parent with three kids... I took my disabled mother and two of my kids to the roadhouse for lunch (you know where you throw peanuts on the floor)... Well my 2yr old was being a little fussy and I had the waitress get her some applesauce to calm her... By the time the waitress came back a different waitress had come and told us we had to move to another section due to my child fussing a little... She was not screaming eigther just a little winey... Well they moved me and my children and my disabled mother to the BAR where there was active smoking going on... and they forgot to bring our food... at that point we left NEVER to return.... I would not recomend it.... NOT a good experiance.... Pros: Good food-usually Cons: POOOOOORRRRR service, lack of tact.... no maners or concern for peoples health... more

Best food anywhere 6/6/2005

I absolutely love this restaurant. Everytime someone new visits me from out of town I take them to the Roadhouse. Not only do they have great steak, but their biscuits and salad are also excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, the service is wonderful and they make great drinks. I would recommend this restaurant highly to anyone. Pros: Great Food, Great Drinks, Great atmosphere more
