COMPLETE waste of money. Massage was a joke. The girl text the whole time and the pedicurist let me soak for 20 minutes, CUT my toenails then painted them. I could have done that. Not even worth 1/2 of the $130 i spent. \r CAUTION - DONT GO THERE!!!! more

I wish i could go everyday. When i get the opportunity i see Michelle Painter. I am a big guy but Michelle works on my back and neck expertly. I always feel a lot better when i go..She is a professional, kind, friendly, does a wonderful job. The Spa itself is clean, private individual rooms. I would highly recommend Michelle and Oasis Day Spa..Sincerity J. Cody.... more

not great. 9/11/2010

i had a facial, and a massage, in one day. i honestly think i could have done a better job on the facial myself. as for the massage, i needed it badly for physical issues i have. the massage itself didn't last long, and the woman seemed distracted. i wouldn't pay what i did for this and actually go again. i do think, though, that with improvement in customer service, and competence, the staff could do a much better job than they did that day. perhaps it was just a bad day? more

very pleased 12/27/2009

I visited this spa as I had been given a "spa perk" program from my company and was told by another employee how well it was. I had a facial and Crystal was superb. I have since gone a number of times for microdermabrasion and other services including massages with Naomi and pedicures with Angel and Glenna (depending on what day I come in) and had the same excellent quality of service. I would recommend this spa to anyone in East TN. It is very clean and well organized, and the staff is well educated. more

Not good, at all 11/21/2009

I booked a full day here, including body scrub, facial, manicure and pedicure. I was led from the front waiting area (an old office chair out in the open right nest to the manicure stations) back to a open stall restroom w/ four lockers and NO shower. I was handed an old robe and a locker key. I was not given spa shoes and had to walk around the brightly lit "spa" and nasty tiled bathroom barefoot. The whole place smelled like pizza (they had just ordered lunch). I was then led to a room for my scrub where the floor was covered w trash bags. I was "scrubbed" w what looked and felt like table salt, while standing, by a woman who informed me that she had just gotten out of beauty school 6 months earlier. I was then put in a coffin-like body steamer that vibrates and was left for 30 minutes. When the lady came back in the room, she took wet towels and wiped the salt off of me then led me to my facial. The facial wasn't terrible but she did leave me in the room w a mask on for 20 minutes and did extractions by hand. Gross. I was then led to the pedicure room by a woman who less then happy. She left me to soak for 30 minutes and then flew through all the other steps. The manicure was just the same. The whole time I was getting my manicure the girl doing it was looking over my shoulder at the woman at the front desk and smiling/laughing. I felt like they were talking about me the whole time. I ended up paying about $230 for what was supposed to be a relaxing day to myself away from my 11 month old. A very sweet gesture from my husband. I was not ONE time offered anything to drink and was there for 4 hours!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will NEVER return. TERRIBLE experience and COMPLETE waste of money. more

Excellent Choice for Personal Services 2/26/2009

Oasis is the best! I shopped around at several local spas before trying Oasis and once I got my first massage there I was sold. I've been going about every 6-8 weeks for 3 years now and have always seen the same massage therapist...he's great. A lady I work with has been seeing a different massage therapist at Oasis for 2 years and everytime she gets a massage she comes back to my office and thanks me for recommending Oasis. I've also had waxing services performed there and found that staff to be friendly and professional, too. Pros: Professional, friendly, knowledgable, stable staff more

nice, friendly, provide great services 12/2/2008

Myself and several of my co workers visited Oasis and loved it. First, there were about 15 of us, and the lady I continued to talk to via email and phone was very helpful. The services were very nice, and this is a smaller spa, but exactly what I wanted. I did not hear blow dryers etc what you could hear in a spa/salon combo, so all you hear is the sound of peacefulness. The spa is very clean, from bathrooms to the rooms for the treatments. Once you start receiving your treatment, the lights are dimmed. I will highly recommend this place to my my family and friends. I will be purchasing some of my family some gift certificates for. I know that they will enjoy the relaxation. more

UNHAPPY 10/8/2008

LET ME START BY SAYING THAT I HAVE BEEN VISITING DAYS SPAS FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND THE ONE I LOVED CLOSED SO I GAVE THIS PLACE A TRY. BAD FOR ME. MY SISTER NEEDED A BREAK AND I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A SISTER DAY. IT WAS VERY COMMERCIAL AND THE RECEPTIONIST WAS DOWNRIGHT RUDE. (NOTHING LIKE ON THE PHONE) I CALLED PRIOR TO DISCUSS MY FACIAL OPTIONS AND WAS GIVEN A PRO ( I WAS TOLD) GUESS NOT BECAUSE MOST OF WHAT I WAS TOLD DID NOT HAPPEN. I SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AND WAS SO UNHAPPY. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RELAXED AFTER A SPA VISIT, I WAS ACHY FROM MY MASSAGE ( I HAVE A SPINAL CONDITION AND EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM IT WAS IGNORED AND I HAD TO MENTION OFTEN AND MY SKIN WAS SO DRY AFTER MY FACIALI HAD TO BUY LOTION PRIOR TO LEAVING WHICH WAS A HUGE PRICE AND I DID NOT EVEN GET THE EXTRACTIONS WHICH WAS WHY I CALLED AHEAD. WILL NOT RETURN AND I WISH MY OLD SPA WAS STILL OPEN. YOU GOT CLASSY SERVICE WITH A REALLY AFFORDABLE PRICE. SAD. more

BEST DAY SPA 8/21/2007

I have visited this spa for several years, and I love it!!! I think that this is why we state only opinions. I have never had a bad service here, and I have seen one massage therapist for at least 7-8 years, and and another for about 3-4 years, so high turnover is not true as stated in another comment. I have been to one esthetician for around five years and she is wonderful as well. As far as nail care, I have had received nail care by the same person for 7-8 years, and it has been what I expected in nail services. Most importantly, I know that they are sanitizing their implements. I think that some people are just impossible to please regardless of how hard you try. I buy gift certificates and give them to my friends and family for the holidays and they love it as well. I have never heard them say one bad experience about this spa. Thank you Oasis Day Spa for how relaxed you make me feel!!! Pros: They are very educated and know their skills Cons: I cannot think of anything bad to say about them more

Best Place Ever!!! 8/20/2007

WoW!!!! Need I say more?? This was the best experience I have ever had at a spa. I recieved a full facial and a deep tissue massage.. I called in advance to book my appointment and to inquire of their atmosphere. The receptionist was very well mannered and polite. She gave me an exact discription. None of the bazzar fountains and "zen" themes going on. Think someone might have called the wrong spa? This place was about quality. They have some of the best people in Knoxville trained for each position. My wife had a complete package and she raved on and on about how great Oasis treated and took care of her. "Oasis has just won me over. I couldn't ask for anything better," she says.. And when the wife is happy, I'm happy. Overall I would say they are top notch professionals and provide top quality for every service. These people know what they are talking about. They are very knowledgeable and answerd every question my wife and I had. They meet my familys needs and when they take care of us, we take care of them. See you shortly Oasis!!!! more

Complete Disappointment 8/18/2007

Let me preface this by saying that my husband and I are picky because we have visited several spas across the U.S. and have found many great spas. Oasis Spa is NOT one of them. I called to make our appointments and asked about the experience that would be provided. The receptionist said that as you walked in the atmosphere was very "zen" and there was relaxing music playing softly. We would be provided robes and there was a sitting area with a water feature. This sounded great to us, so I booked a facial & massage package for both of us. Unfortunately, almost none of what the receptionist described was actually true. The atmosphere was really more industrial, with ceiling tiles and commercial grade carpet. There was a sitting area, but it was four chairs next to the manicurist so there was talking. My husband didn't get a robe at all, and I only got it after my massage going to my facial. I didn't see/notice a water feature. The music was inappropriate, too upbeat and fast. I like a slow, relaxing, Enya-type of music at a spa. The walls in the rooms were too thin, I could hear others talking in the next room. The services: they were Ok. The facials were mostly enjoyable, except they were delivered in a crazy, fast whipping motion. My husband got product in his eyes. My facialist (although she was nice) went on a smoke break during the service and came back with hands smelling like smoke. Overall, we will never go back. This place is in West Knoxville/Farragut. I expected MUCH more from it. We just think that spa services are expensive, and we want to get full enjoyment from them. Find somewhere else to spend your time and hard-earned money. more

Avoid getting a massage here! 1/14/2007

Been here many times over the past few years. The massage therapists change frequently and just did not do a good massage. Complained to owner, refused to give my money back. Not really a good choice for massages. Nail care is average. Pros: Cucumber lemon water is refreshing Cons: Massage therapist with no experience more
