Review content:
Let me preface this by saying that my husband and I are picky because we have visited several spas across the U.S. and have found many great spas. Oasis Spa is NOT one of them. I called to make our appointments and asked about the experience that would be provided. The receptionist said that as you walked in the atmosphere was very "zen" and there was relaxing music playing softly. We would be provided robes and there was a sitting area with a water feature. This sounded great to us, so I booked a facial & massage package for both of us. Unfortunately, almost none of what the receptionist described was actually true. The atmosphere was really more industrial, with ceiling tiles and commercial grade carpet. There was a sitting area, but it was four chairs next to the manicurist so there was talking. My husband didn't get a robe at all, and I only got it after my massage going to my facial. I didn't see/notice a water feature. The music was inappropriate, too upbeat and fast. I like a slow, relaxing, Enya-type of music at a spa. The walls in the rooms were too thin, I could hear others talking in the next room. The services: they were Ok. The facials were mostly enjoyable, except they were delivered in a crazy, fast whipping motion. My husband got product in his eyes. My facialist (although she was nice) went on a smoke break during the service and came back with hands smelling like smoke. Overall, we will never go back. This place is in West Knoxville/Farragut. I expected MUCH more from it. We just think that spa services are expensive, and we want to get full enjoyment from them. Find somewhere else to spend your time and hard-earned money.
