Dissapointed with the Oakland Vision: From the moment I made appointment was put on hold 3 times for more than 4 minutes Exam was OK, standard, doctor submitted to nurse confusing paperwork Nurse very aggressive with selling you policarbonate / anti glare lenses Unpleasant tone, she was ready to order wrong lenses, had to ask for the doctor again to switch to ordering correct prescription They forget to measure the distance btw eyes, have to go again to take measurements I would not recommend this office more

\r Went to oakland vision in Walled Lake, got there 15 minutes early and did the paperwork. Sat there 45 minutes and not a word from anyone. I don't know about you but my time is valuable to me and when I get to an appointment on time and have to wait over 15 minutes I start getting upset. POOR TIME Management on the staffs part and shows that they don't care about your time only theirs ( I'm sure GREED plays a part also ). I was a bit surprised when I read the last review. I have been bringing my teens to Oakland Vision for the past four years, and have not had any issues. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The office has been recently expanded and redecorated. I found the Dr very informative, polite, and very professional, at no time did he try to sell me a service that I didn't want or need. I have been to this office twice for myself. The only problem that I have experienced was with the anti-reflective glaze on my glasses, this is the labs fault not the fault of Oakland Vision. When I called to find out when my glasses would be ready after being sent back to the lab they told me that they would call the lab and find out what was going on. Imagine my surprise when they called me back within five minutes. It was explained to me that when the lab tested my lenses there was still a problem and that they were re-doing them and that they should be ready by Monday. I find that there customer service is fantastic and have no complaints. The problems that I experienced were the fault of the lab, not there""s . I would recommend Oakland Vision to anyone who wants great service and an affordable pair of glasses. more
