Paid them almost $1800 for less than 8 hours of work and 10 days of storage on a move two weeks ago. Got a quote for $85/hour for 5 additional pieces and was presented with a bill for $237. I had used them several times previous and referred them countless times. Now Mike O, says he is taking me to court because because I am only paying the $85 for less than 1 hour of work and less than 1 mile of drive between houses. I will NEVER refer them or use them again. I did not even go into the 2 inch by 6 inch hole ripped in the couch they moved. Just too frustrated to deal with them anymore. more

Move Feedback 3/22/2012

First, let me say that Dallas and Jeff were great. Very courteous and professional. They arrived and started work immediately. They made every effort to be accomodating (even when my sofa didn't fit into my new place, they were helpful in wrapping it and placing it out of the way for pick up). The move was done efficiently and with great care to my fragile items. I can't thank you enough for having such great staff. I have already shared my experience with my circle of friends. I had a good experience from my first call to receive a quote all the way to the move itself. Thank you so much for the great service. I will definately be using O'Sullivan again. more

Move within Michigan 1/28/2011

These guys were very efficient and professional. We had a 4 bedroom 2600 square foot home plus basement and 2 car garage full of stuff. They sent 5 guys to load and three to unload. We moved within Michigan from Grand Blanc to Big Rapids, about 170 miles one way. I would recommend O'Sullivan to others. more

A successful move 1/24/2011

Dear O'Sullivan Family and Staff,\r \r We used your services to relocate to Traverse City three months ago on August 16th, 2010. (Our apologies for the delay in sending this letter!) Without the assistance of your professional moving staff, Vaughn, Zee and Brian, our move could not have been such a success!\r \r Our relocation plans originally went anything but smoothly when we were required to delay our July scheduled move to August due to the madness of the housing market and the sale of our home. Finally a closing date was scheduled.\r \r Your truck arrived on schedule and the packing process went smoothly (with a call in for more men, Larry and Antonio, as our estimate was "a little under the number of boxes needed for all of our belongings!) A Great Moving Co 1/24/2011

The staff was professional and courteous from the first phone call to the final move. I received a slightly lower estimated from another company but decided to use this one because of the professional and warm attitude of the individuals who spoke with me on the phone and their apparent expertise and knowledge. The estimator accurately estimated the time and cost involved in the move. I ended up adding a few more things in the move, which explains the slight difference in the price. The movers, themselves, were professional, experienced, and had a great attitude. Not even a knick or dent to any single piece of furniture-- and there were several large, bulking pieces of furniture involved. The moving day was bitter cold and windy, but it did not hinder the movers. O'Sullivan made my move easy and painless. I strongly recommend this company. more

As a representative of the company I would like to respond to the reviews posted below. 1) Robert B: When I first discovered your review on our company I immediately looked up your relocation, but was unable to locate anything under your name. I would need the date of your move in order to pull your file. I would be more than happy to investigate your claim, but I have never received a phone call from you nor have I ever received a claim form. If a customer is ever not satisfied with their move or should there be damages, we review the job and do the best we can to make sure our customer's are satisfied. Move & Storage 1/27/2010

This company has excellent services. They were able to move me out of my condo and store my belongings for a couple weeks in their storage facility and then move the items into my new home when it was finally ready. I received excellent rates for my move AND storage. O'Sullivans has such a friendly and courteous staff. They really care! more

Awesome Movers!! 1/27/2010

We planned a move from Michigan to south Florida and Mike O'Sullivan was the best!!! He helped me find a mover that would move our stuff out of state, and was able to give me the name of an air ride truck, equipped with all of the pads, straps, and dollies that we needed, plus a driver to drive the stuff there. Then his company gave me an estimate, loaded my houseful of furniture, plus 2 pianos and my car into the 53 foot moving van, and sent me safely on my way to Florida. We did not have one thing broken, until I dropped something that I was putting away in the kitchen:( They are a great local mover, and can also assist with an out of state move. We had a company unload here in Florida and they did a good job, but O' Sullivans packers were a step above them. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a great mover with great PR skills! more

Bad Experience 11/4/2009

Our family recently used O'Sullivan Moving & Storage the movers were very careless and took there sweet time milking the clock resulting in a outrageous bill. Everytime I went to check on the movers they were busy smoking or horseplaying on the truck. We went with O'Sullivans because the hourly rate was cheaper then the company we have used in the past resulting in our bill being more then double of the previous movers on top of that they broke a mirror that went to a dresser and promised they would replace it, that never happened. Beware of this company unless you want to be taken advantaged of. more

I want to let everyone know that these movers did a very fine job on my move this past Saturday. Not only were they courteous, but very good professional movers and the customer service was great. They provided me with a quote very quickly and it was pretty accurate to the final cost of my actual move. more

Unhappy Customer 8/8/2008

I've recently used their services. Everything went OK, until they scratched my hardwood floor, in the new house. The guys that did it said that the business is insured and they would cover the expense of the repair. That was on the day of move... Next day, trying to get the damage fixed, everything changed. They said it was not their mistake and they wouldn't cover that damage. The movers even lied saying that I caused the scratch... and I even had tipped them (my mistake).I wouldn't recommend them, at all. more
